Well that wasnt to bad of an ending but that just so open of an ending

I give the series, Light Novel and Anime 7/10 The ending of the anime wasn't bad, but I felt it was very cliche. Its not that I like bad events, sometimes I wished for a bit of realistic to it.

I was hoping for something more open-ended to leave space for season 2 coming in. But I suppose the way they ended it is fine, too, just not satisfying.

Well, having heard Kotori's confession is more than enough for me even though it's a "like you as a sister" kind of confession.

How is the ending not open? The only thing we finished up here was Kotori's arc.

Shidou is far from done saving spirits, we still have Kurumi running around, there's the mystery of the spirit that Shidou said turned Kotori into one, Origami is clearly in a lot of trouble for stealing the White Licorice, and there's even the DEM company that Kotori was talking about in episode 9.

That's pretty open-ended.

Just noticed that her stats are generally pretty well balanced whatever they are. I'm assuming the part where it touches the edge is probably her attack power since she seems the most powerful as so far in terms of sheer power. With stats like that an unwavering love, what more do you want from an imouto?

Nah, his grip strength for each hand is in the low 40s.

Kotori's birthday is August (3 or 5? Can't see clearly @_@), eh... so if there's a season 2 I'd expect a filler Kotori Birthday episode in the first half. :9

And lol at the max out love for her onii-chan. He sure is clueless about her true feelings. Then again, her attitude towards him isn't helping matters.

Tohka = Saber (obviously)
Yoshino = Rider
Kurumi = Assassin (could also be Berserker or maybe even Caster)
Kotori = Berserker (because of her rage mode)

Spread this around; somebody in Japan may do a fanart.

Overall a very charming series with a unique premise. Had a fun cast of characters and a plot better than the average harem series.

I give Date a Live an 8/10 and I'd love to see a second season.
