I don't think that he was directly involved with the project. Maybe he was the supervisor of some sort. I have seen this question somewhere on this thread but I don't feel like digging for it.

Apparently the next volume due for October is yet more side stories -- Volume 6.75. Makes me wonder what Wataru sensei has planned for Volume 8, must be something big considering it's been nothing but shorts lately. Either way, can't wait for the translations to catch up.

Just based it off Wikipedia. I assumed it would be the next volume since the release dates of (March, July, November) was similar. But in retrospect maybe I was generalizing, now that I think about it I probably misinterpreted.

Actually, I have just read that there is a "Volume 6.5" included with the 3rd BR set of this series. you can see the cover at amazon (it's the 3rd image)

For the comments that I have read, 6.5 is more plot heavy than 6.25 (like, we see post trauma Sagami, and there are future events flag ("what has been broken can't be fixed")); furthermore it seems that the existence of a future 6.75 volume is already set in stone (plot left open, apparently), following a pattern it should be 2 months after the release of 6.5

Oh, and it looks like Ponkan is "evolving" his fish eye version

It's exactly what I was afraid off, it's pretty long time that Baka-tsuki updated last time and yet no summaries.

It might be better if translation didn't pick that up.

Volume 7 was updated, the translator seems busy IRL but also seems pretty motivated with the project.

The images of volume 7.5 are up, with all of the hotspring (is it a hotspring?) and wedding dress glory that said thing implies.
