The Univision commentators say that there were problems with the stadium's audio system that's why they skipped the national anthems.

'98 perhaps.

Pogba was so lucky not to be sent off there. Needs to keep his calm.

Seriously, that is really poor if any. This is the 5th World Cup I watch live on TV, but it is the first time I read that the stadium's audio system is out of business. Do they ever make checkups and have extra hardware in reserve?

They should just man up then. I bloody loved it as a newbie to the game in 1998.

Penalty for France. Wilson Palacios gets a second yellow for barging in and is sent off.

edit: 1-0 France. Well taken penalty by Karim Benzema; Honduras had that coming for all the wreckless game they had.

The first actual application of the Goal Line Technology at this World Cup?

France just scored another one.

The goal line technology gave it as a goal, but the time that ball went over the line must have been a very very very short split of a second if any.

Yes. If you're France, you'd be saying "Thank you, Goal-Line Technology!"

He was the last one to touch it. Let alone tried to pull it away from the goal line.

Karim Benzema's on fire!

France 3-0 Honduras, 72th minute

It looks like Patrice Evra's off because of a bad ankle injury.

Aux armes, citoyens. Formez vos bataillons. Marchons, marchons, qu'un sang impur abreuve nos sillons.

It's nice to hear La Marseillaise in the stadium. It has been quite a long time since I can listen French fans sing in full voices at the World Cup while winning a match... since the days I cheered a lot more for them and for one of my favorites, Zinedine Zidane.

And he would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for that meddling goal line technology.

I said earlier that Evra left with an ankle injury, but he is still on the pitch despite being stretchered off after the 3rd goal. My apologies if I gave the wrong information to those who can't watch the game.

edit: Final score: France 3-0 Honduras. I must admit I wasn't sure about how France would perform without Ribéry, but they proved me wrong with the kind of fast-paced attacking football they showed. The big test for France will come on Friday against Switzerland, but I think they have more than they need to get the result.

3 - 0 end.

Still not the biggest margin of difference in this World Cup
