Problems with xvid.dll

Hello all. First time posting here. Sadly, it had to be here instead of the anime forum. This is the issue:

I downloaded Samurai Champloo episode 3, from AF (I hope there isn't a problem
with posting this) and tried playing it in both Winamp and Windows Media Player. Both gave me the same error (aka "The send Microsoft this error report"), something regarding xvid.dll. I'm thinking it could be a driver or codec problem (the latter less likely I guess, since Media Player would have told me so).

Anyway, if anyone knows what's going on, or has any ideas, thanks in advance!
Oh and yeah, the download DID complete, so that's not the problem.
Thanks again!

A few words of advise:
1. use another media player such as BSPlayer, Media Player Classic or ZoomPlayer.
2. Download the latest XVID codec here:
3. Download the latest FFDshow here:
4. Download
This should solve most of the playback problems.

Oh, thanks a lot!! Downloading the latest xvid codecs solved it!
I thought I pretty much had them up to date! Thanks again!
