I won't call tyhis episode boring. tHe animation waqs also great. The current issue of this show is that it tries to be both fancervicy comedy and heartwarming slice of life about NEET MC trying to change his life. The issue is like always: if you try to be both, the result is always medicore. I will give it a couple more eps.

Onii.-chan's a cutie pie. Seems he is more relaxed in the younger sister position than the big brother one when he is already thinking about it himself. First episode and we already went through the self-reveal in the bathroom, putting on girl clothes, despairing at horny (lol that BL scene and him getting turned on by it), SPORTS and putting on a bra. At this rate Onii-chan will get married before his younger sister. xD
Jokes aside, Himari forcing her brother through a gender transformation and spying on him in his own room are clearly wrong acts even if done for well meant reasons as in transforming the hopeless, jobless, ero-addicted big brother into a social functioning human being. Well, if he is fine with it and it does better his life, then that's good, I guess.^^

I was getting the impression that Mihari is at least somewhat aware that her physical and academic abilities pushed her brother away from her, everyone else who idolized her instead, and eventually into his NEET pattern. He couldn't stand out compared to her and became insular instead.
At some point, she took it on herself to undo the damage she unintentionally caused. The problem is that Mihari's plan to rehabilitate him is about the worst way possible to do it, but she did it anyway. |

So, his sister turns him into her little sister and he/she doesn't even get mad about it?
Was he already gay or something (perhaps without consciously realizing it)? That might explain the BL game he "accidentally" bought. So, the sister also took the liberty of throwing away his old male clothes? I guess this means the transformation is permanent? What a nasty, manipulative sister. Does she spend the rest of the series using her former brother as an emasculated doormat? Last edited by AnimeFan188; 2022-12-27 at 17:40. |

taking thing out of context and putting it in nonsensical sense: basically this show is telling me, if you are a shut-in, maybe you are born in the wrong gender. It feels like a sunday show. If you have nothing to watch, might as well have this running in the background. My issue is, will it have a proper ending or will they try to make it into one of those neverending shows. |
