Manga Discussion: Chapter 335[spoilers]

-franky is super pissed about his hideout so he leaves to seek retribution with those weird girls standing besides him

-kokoro and the little girl are standing on a wharf. Kokoro while chugging some booze says that the Aqua Laguna not sure on spelling is coming

-chopper and sanji are looking for robin and they ask some dude he says something that leaves a shocked look on sanji

-as luffy and nami approach the #1 yard people are talking about iceberg's assassination plot and are pretty pissed when *cue dramatic theme someone shows up

-and the moment i was looking forward to but left very disappointed lol. franky is finally shown without his robe and mask. he is in a hawaiian shirt in speedos with arms that put popeye to shame. he has that elvis hairdo with sunglasses he takes off to give a im going to kill you look to luffy and co. and he has a metallic nose. he does a song and posing routine as he is saying something to luffy. he is accompanied by the 2 girls who are known as the Square Sisters Kiui or something the left one and Moz the right one.

-franky and luffy exchange some "greetings" and the stage is set popeye vs luffy seems to be coming up

-we switch to iceberg and the galley la crew iceberg appears to have regained consciousness and im not sure but i think he says the people who did that to him were nico robin and that masked person

chapter ends so 336 is going to be super sweet

on a side note i think iceberg is robin's relative and that's what the government official is always coming to ask him about. like turn her in sort of deal of course pure speculation but im almost positive iceberg and her have some kind of relation.

Thx for the summary jebus. It was great. Darn...Franky didn't look wicked the way you described. Maybe that was the reason for his mask and cape. Aqua Laguna...hmm... maybe what yoska posted. Hey, maybe the frog going to show up. I like that frog. Robin possibly shot Iceberg... damn that blow... but make it more interesting.

i cant help wondering if this is gonna be like arlong arc.
at first it seems robin is lost, but luffy beats franky and gets her back,
it sounds cheesy, but somewhat reasonable,

I don't think so.
Robin haven't even really gone away and Franky doesn't seem like a main villain ( and most likely their isn't any connection between them ). In the fact after this chapter Franky seems more like a new crew member candidate.

I think this fight with Franky will be somewhat pointless, which makes me think they'll have respect for one another and then Franky will join the Straw hat Pirates. I say this because I'm guessing Franky has eaten and Iron or Steel fruit due to his nose and Iron / Steel vrs. Rubber should not really hurt each other.

Plus if Franky put some pants on, he'd probably look pretty cool.

This arc is getting better and better, w00t.

I hope franky doesn't join lol. I definitely think there is a bigger enemy here. Maybe their fight will be interuppted too. Actually I really have no clue whats going to happen to next. I'm really enjoying this arc.

Personally I'm hoping we don't get a new crew member, or at least none of the ones we've seen so far. Pauley is the closest thing to what I'm looking for, but even then he just doesn't seem to have the proper sob story to go along with becoming a Straw Hat pirate. Did Oda actually say somewhere that "yeah, they're definitely getting a new crew member, and they're losing one too"? If so, maybe he was referring to the Going Merry as being the member lost, and then the ship as the new one. Afterall, they do refer to their ship as a crew member.

Anyway, hopefully Aqua Laguna will make for something interesting, or a Frankie fight of some sort if it happens. I liked Usopp's part in this arc, but that's about it. Can't say as I care much for the rest of it, but I'm sure it'll change.

There haven't been a new crew member like in 2 years. It's proper time to get a new one and I'm satisfied wheter it's Kaku, Paulie, Iceberg, Rob or Franky. Oda will make it a good thing. Mugiwara's decided to get a ship wright so will get one. It's like previously they decided to get a navigator ,a cook and a doctor and they did get one. I bet there is a one with 'a proper sob story', how do you know there isn't. At least there will be a flashback in this story like in all stories before. I just love flashbacks, flashbacks in OP are all great. If somebody would have told me three years ago that Going Merry Gou will retire I wouldn't have belive. Now in a way I hope it will, though it will be sad. Usopp will be back or he will have splash page mini story and then he will be back. In its entirety Water 7 has been best thing what have happened since Jaya.

I hear that! I'm hoping it's Frankie, but it might not be. Just seems like he'd fit into the crew well, too me atleast.
