beginners php help..

hi i just started my site that I can't give you the name of, as per the rules
i have a seires a link i have to edit on my layout everytime i get a new affiliate or i have to change something. I find it very time consuming.

I want to know Instead of hardcoding them into each of my webpages ( html)
how can i take advantage of PHP and use the database to store my links.

Instead of typing the layout in each of my content page i can place some PHP code into each of my content pages and it will access the main layout without editing each page. Dat way i will only have to edit the database or file once and my php scripts will read the database for the layout.

Very confusing

can someone help me personally or refer someone else to plz

my msn is

or reply bak to this message thxs.

at least it gives him a basic idea. I mean, I am not responsible for his learning of syntax and stuff right?

I won't chase his ass and get him to learn all the functions.
Go to and look at the toturial.
