Making BSPlayer work with CCCP

Lots of people seem to like BSPlayer, but unfortunately it doesn't work with a lot of things contained in the CCCP. Examples of incompatibilities include VSFilter (subtitle rendering won't work in many versions) and Haali's Matroska splitter (some of the later BSPlayer versions just crashes with dual audio/dual subtitles MKV's).
Well, it didn't use to work, at least. Potential BSPlayer + CCCP users (or indeed ALL BSPlayer users) would do well to read this FAQ entry.

An (incomplete) list of BSPlayer issues is also available, here.

Latest BSPlayer

Update to CCCP BSP thread, which is for some reason still closed...

BSPlayer 2.10 build 939 should now be fully compatible with all of the features of the CCCP. Of course this version is completely laden with adware, but thats your issue n_n. Version 1.32 build 820 is the last non-adware version which will work completely with the CCCP, and still hosted on the CCCP wiki if needed. BSP wiki entry has been updated/etc for the 2.10 changes.
