I just watched all 9 episodes so far and I was pleasantly surprised by this series. Definitely one of my favorites so far this season.

I have only seen 4 episodes so far. The animation quality/character design reminds me somewhat of Sousei no Aquarion but other than that I can't find similarities between those two.

My favorite characters right now are Lucien and Ryoko. They both have awsome voice actresses. Paku Romi is of course good at what she does, but Ryoko's voice actress Hanazawa Kana has an extremely refreshing voice.

I hope Ryoko does more than she has been doing so far.

Wow, this show took me by surprise. The mecha designs are nothing to write home about (Though they do tickle my fancy in that Zone-of-Enders way), but it's the theme that's really grabbing me. I want to make sure I'm clearly understanding what's going on here though:

Questions and Spoilers for up to Ep 7

If what I said was right, then this show is shockingly bleak.

On an unrelated note, I appreciate the clean designs of the characters, even if they don't stand out very much, and the OP/ED themes convey the feel of the show really well. I hope it's a 26 ep show, as that'll give it plenty of breathing room.

If you just cut off the power to the servers, then this Serie is ended in 3 Episodes...

If the Main bad guy in a movie dieds in the first shoot in the movie. You get out in bout 5 mins...

Sometime, forget the direct way to deal with problems. You wanna enjoy a movie. Not a shortmovie trailer...

Mfg,

Yeah, I know. But there has to be some logic to this to keep people watching it.

Spoiler for Continuing the discussion:

Anyway, my general summary of this show is "Like the Matrix, only moreso." I like the angle they're going for, even they had to pad up the episodes with mostly pointless fight scenes to get funding from Bandai.

On a side note, entanglement seems to be a semi-important concept in this series. In case anyone's not aware, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_entanglement

I guess this is how their teleporters and servers work? Maybe it'll become important later on, who knows?

I don't understand the point of the fight against the Celebrants: they have already won because the humanity is history, so what's the point in keep fighting. I mean: Celebrants could leave the human digital copies in the servers to live their pointless life (it's all a program after all) and they could rule the REAL Earth. Can someone explain me this?
