I won't expect 101 episodes of Touch as well, and it will probably have a lesser budget, which is why I hope for a Hiatari Ryoukou remake. The forty-eight episodes it once had is very, very manageable, IMO - whereas Touch, although a very good show still, has 101 - and it's quite a difficult feat to put those all into 52 episodes (it seems that shorter series have become more popular recently).

But man, seeing great character designs of Adachi's works just would probably make me contented for the rest of that anime run. I have already pegged Hiatari Ryoukou to be among my top 10 anime, and if it would be remade and remade well, it could very well topple down my Tsukihime lunacy.
