I saw the Appleseed: Ex Machina DVD advertised on a mainstream network TV channel last night. I refuse to believe that anime is dead for that very reason.

Mainstream tv? Oh, yeah, i saw that one too! Yeah, the thing is, anime IS getting more mainstream. The problem is, I think, anime studios are trying to cash in on the "What's nifty now" and leaving lingering stronger show types, like FMP, on the back burner. Then, they charge $30 per disk, which nobody wants to pay, and so they say "nobody wants anime" and pout. I think they're referring to places like Geneon and such.

And thirty million fanboys and girls can't be wrong <G>

FMP needs more attention. Those studios should be networking more, having more than one division working on more than one anime at a time! That way, they can make more money...if they sell the slimdisks and charge less...

Oh, FMP has so much POTENTIAL. And this whole Sophia thing....ooh, tingles. Gotta know more about that! (at least we have a source on what the whisper issue is all about)

There is still the theory that they are waiting for the novels to finish.

But I think it is safe to say we will see another FMP anime again. The question is when.

I had received the first part of NOT translations, but since I'm doing homeworks these days the translated release may hold for a while.

Holy moly took some time again to read through 20+ of posts. Anyway thanks hunter ever since I started to visit this forum u've been a great help. Too bad my theory about whispered origin proved to be wrong, still the bids on Sousuke being special just risen up.
With everything said in your spoilers some things from the past start to make a bit more sense. Like Nami saying Sousuke was supposed to be hers to begin with and Kana "stole" him.

I'd like to thank Hunterseeker for his excellent contribution. It must be damn difficult and time consuming to translate all of that . Good job m8!

So far as the spoilers go, she seems to have gotten over her crush.

Greetings! I do apologize for the "newbie" post - I had an account on here a few years ago and couldn't find it, so I made a new one. Anyway, I've been searching this thread for a while for any information about (translated - sorry, my ability to read kanji is zero) versions of the FMP! novels. I finally managed to track down DVMC, COMO, and the first few chapters of BOMF, but from there I can't find English versions anywhere, it seems.

I'm sure this has been addressed in the past, but with such an active thread (153 pages at my current [low] view setting!), any guidance would be most appreciated! Especially since I'm trying to avoid spoilers, yet have a bad habit of clicking "view" when I come across them... eh heh. And do let me know if this question is out of line, as I try to avoid such things as much as possible. =)
