Games to look out for
I have been internet less ( I had Dial up that counts) for about 3 months, I think I have lost mostly what news I know about gaming within that period of time, with the exception of Phoenix Wright 3, I would now like to ask you guys what games I have missed for PC PS2 DS and PSP or just great games in general.
Looking forward for a reply |

I don't think you've missed much at the moment. There are many anticipated games, like Tekken 6 coming out. Most games that are anticipated actually won't be out till sometime after christmas. I guess one of the biggest thing for PC is the new Starcraft game that is in production. Also the Super Smash Bros. that nintendo is bringing out is gaining alot of buzz. Unreal Tournament 3 should be coming out soon though. Than there is also Dragons Quest coming out. You also have Kingdom Underfire coming out, which is getting some buzz, but not as large as some of the ones I already mentioned.
Than there is also the new Devil May Cry game coming out. Apparently there is also a new Bruce Lee game being made (this time a fighting game) for the 360. Of course GTA is also due to be released next year. Ninja Gaiden is also coming out next year. Of course Golden Axe is being made. |

Far Cry 2 for sure!
I don't know, though. The gaming industry basically blew their load the last two months, with all the big names already out. If you're a fighter fan, there's Tekken 6 (imminent), Soul Calibur 4 (later...), and of course, Super Smash Bros. Brash (zomg!). On the RTS side, Supreme Commander is getting ANOTHER expansion, and CNC3: Kane's Wrath is coming out early next year. There's also Starcraft II... but that'll be for later. Anyways, what you've missed... PC: Crysis Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance Bioshock Assassin's Creed Unreal Tournament 3 Call of Duty 4 HL2: Orange Box 360: Mass Effect Halo 3 Bioshock Assassin's Creed Call of Duty 4 HL2: Orange Box PS3: Ratchet and Clank Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Assassin's Creed Call of Duty 4 HL2: Orange Box (coming soon!) Wii: Super Mario Galaxy Probably missed a few there. |

DS games I like:
Luminous Arc (Wow, unlike "Tales" it has a Japanese OP.) Advance Wars: Duel Strike (Love the series) Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja (It's hard, but it's not bad) Pokemon Diamond & Pearl (Long, long game... -_-) Etrian Odyssey (Modify!) Looking forward: Luminous Arc 2 Not many good ones lately... -_-

GameReplays has a lot of information about it. A lot of the people there, including the head admin, were totally psyched for the game until actually playing it. From there, the spam and imbalance between races apparently killed all the excitement. That, and apparently Games For Windows Live are really ruining it. Basically, to play ranked ladder, you MUST purchase a GFWL account (unless you own an XBox Live account already). Not only that, but all patches must go through the GFWL crew first... which will basically mean even balance patches will take forever to come out because they have to be approved. Crazy, huh? = / Considering it's made by a lot of people who made the original CNC, it was looking really cool until M$ had to come and screw it up. Also, in a poll made by the site admin: http://www.gamereplays.org/community...owtopic=290389 Will you pay a subscription to have access to QM/Ladder? Yes [ 48 ][6.07%] No - (either can't afford it, or don't want to) [ 736 ][93.05%] |

For Wii, there also has been Fire Emblem:Radiant Dawn and Zack and Wiki. DS got Zelda in October and PSP got Castlevania Chronicles in the same month.
Geeks flipped out across the interwebs over the firing of Jeff Gertsmann of Gamespot.com. Street Fighter IV was announced, and first details are released tomorrow. Super Mario Galaxy has become one of the highest rated games ever. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will have online play. Call of Duty 5 was announced.

Upcoming-
DS- -Tales of Innocence (No.1 game to watch) -Time Hollow (Very interesting anime style series game Konami are making) -Lux-Pain (Not sure if this will be localized but very unique) -Apollo Justice: Ace Attourney (AKA Phoenix Wright 4) -The World Ends with You (Fantastic looking new SquareEnix RPG) -Advance Wars: Days of Ruin -Etrian Odyssey 2 -Megaman: Star Force 2 -Kirby Superstar DS -Luminous Arc 2 -Archaic Sealed Heat: ASH (Probably contender for prettiest DS title) Recently Released- DS- -Contra 4 -Zelda: Phantom Hourglass -FFXII: Revenant Wings -Megaman ZX: Advent -Phoenix Wright 3 -Pokemon Pearl/Diamond -Touch Detective 2.5 -Professor Layton and the Curious Village (This one is a must. Its had quite a runaway following over in JPN and the recent sequel turned the charts on their head) Thats barely the tip of the iceberg for DS games since theres obviously more. Which makes it all the worse nobody has indulged in them. |
