Artbox, extra disc (with Shana-tan among other things), and a booklet with color illustrations.

On the topic of merchandise, does anyone know if Ito actually sells any of his original Shana or Haruhi art? In western comic books, original comic art and commissions are a big part of the industry. Anyone know if the same applies to manga?

It appears that a proper figure for Shana-tan exists

Don't bother trying to search high and low for it though cause the company which made it , TJ Grosnet, had filed for bankruptcy back in April this year and all their possessions and assets have been seized by the banks. Originally it was only available to buy from their website but I think a few were sold at the Tokyo Toys Roadshow event according to the blog in the link. Consider this VERY RARE to get.
There's one up for auction over on Yahoo Japan Auctions right now but be prepared to pay 10,000+ yen for it.

I did it! I won the auction that put up that Shana-tan figure for 11,500 yen. The previous one listed by another seller had sold for just over 40,000 yen XD. Now let's just hope the seller accepts deputy services...

Our Aussie dollar is so low at the moment that the final amount I got from winning that auction is in US dollars (add in all the commission, internal and wire fees from the deputy service I use) which is $153.30US equalling to around $251AU at the moment.

CDJapan is re-releasing a special brass copper amulet of Alastor here. Not sure if that's a good one you want but it's about as closest to the real thing if it did exist lol. Best you pre-order that since they tend to be out of print way before its release date.

I think I'll put this here... They're images but not the wallpaper, fanart, signature type.

I was on a Rie Kugimiya kick and made some screenshots of her from the extra disk that comes with the vol. 1 LE box. But, the ISML thread is really the only one I'm currently following and that's where I impulsively put them. So, rather than re-posting, here's a link... for anyone that's interested.

that alastor amulet, i think i saw them selling it an AX last year 2008 in the LA convention Center. My friend bought one, but it didn't look as good as i thought it was. I don't know how much he got it for though. maybe like 20 bucks or so?
