Why are some viewers so terrified of Hitagi's character ?

She has the chance to become a normal girl once again because of Koyomi's persistence.
It will take time, you can't change as a person overnight.

At least that is what I think the author wants to imply.

Yea, that Kaiki guy(I forgot his name lol) is one hell of a bastard. What do you men by a lot. Sorry, though I read the novel, cuz of the sheer numbers of kanji, there's some parts that I skip so I would be really happy if you could fill in the gaps lol. Maybe thru PM if you don't mind?

BTW, I didn't misunderstand her request right right. She meant to ask Araragi to do that man-woman thing(quated from Hachikuji's word :P) with her with that last sentence right?

It is amazing Hitagi isn't a raging lesbian.

Which I suspect is Suruga's great disappointment.

I say Hitagi's just this authors take on such things.

Normally, people don't smile just minutes after being bashed against a wall.
But back to seriousness. You're right. She has a really hard time expressing herself. Arraragi's "main quest" is to restore it in the end. Senjogahara is merciless and rude, but the truth is she really clumsy at socialising and it seems in relationships. He probably has strange ideas about the later.
And just when we thought Araragi's quite lucky to get her. ..Senjogahara's warning wasn't without grounds in the previous episode.

She was still haunted by her demons even after getting rid of the crab. The attempted rape and the aftermath were still tormenting her and she seemed to associate sex with the lost of something important to her so it meant a lot for her to reach the point. And she was strong in how she was willing to confront Kaiki alone even though she was almost as afraid of him as she was of losing Koyomi.

Hmm, I thought those longer sentences could be excerpts from the novels...maybe someone will confirm this. It's not fair though, why are they teasing us with that virtually impossible to read text.

Japanese can't be any easier to read (fast) than English right (it sure doesn't look like it) ?

yes, I understand the part that she was afraid of Kaiki, but I guess I must has skipped the part that she associate sex with the lost of something important to her. Just to make sure though, is Kaiki the guy that duped her mom into the occult? cuz I'm sure he talk about the occult leader in third person word so I guess he's not the leader and the leader is the one that attempt to rape Senjougahara right? I'm afraid I might misinterpret the story again with that many kanji around lol.

On a side note, since I still hasn't bought Nisemonogatari 2(this novel is so expensive >.<. At least if rated in my country's currency), do this event change Senjougahara and Araragi relationship at all(I mean make them more lovey-dovey, or make Senjougahara less abusive and more kind to Araragi)

Well if your faithful to your woman you shouldnt have anything to worry about it. Granted that scene with the pen was kind of freaky. But if you noticed once Araragi stated his gestures of affection and loyalty she backed down instantly and even apologized. She may be awkward with relationships but shes still a women just know what to say and how to say it flattery works for the most part. Even Hitagi acknowledge this fact.

BTW did they get any studying done?

As for changing of characters, yes it does. We don't see the changes since Hitagi doesn't appear in Nise 2, but Koyomi thinks about how she's changed.

Thank you ^^. Seems I need to reread nisemonogatari again lol. Make too many misinterpretations :P. So Koyomi make a comment on how she changed? What's his comment? So Hitagi doesn't appear in Nise 2? What's the reason? It seems she always appear in each arc since she's the main heroine

Do you mean if I ask you some question about monogatari novel series thru PM? It seems the sheer number of kanji make me misinterpret lots of part of this novel >.<

I know a friend who said his girlfriend promptly started to bawl when they were in the midst of getting hot and steamy together.

So he stopped, and she bawled more. The reason was, she was abused when she was younger and somewhat promiscuous before she met him.... her teared statement was (if he told me correctly)

"I don't have anything of worth left to give you..."

How do you answer something like that ?

Even the fact that she looks great and she knows it did not help.

Deep inside she didn't feel she had anything worth to offer when it came to intimacy... because of the Stepfather problems etc.

My friend and her tried for two years before she became normal and they eventually got married. Lots of counseling sessions, and he even paid the bills for that.

Right now, she is insanely jealous when other women are around him. Despite her being a Number 10 on the hot to look at scale. All of us in the group know why so it doesn't bother us much...

Essentially he gave her life back... so Hitagi is not an unrealistic character for the most part.
