What operating system is your school using? At my school, we use Windows XP and are not allowed to change the wallpaper either. However, it may be possible to get around this through some coding (it worked at my school, and I now have a non-regulation Geneshaft wallpaper )

Now for my desktops (3)

First: Sony Clie PalmOS handheld desktop:
Wallpaper is of Akane (chibi version) from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.


Second: Windows 98 w/LiteStep DarkBar theme:


Third: Gentoo GNU/Linux 1.4 w/XFCE4, xmms, and gkrellm:
(wallpaper changes with each login.. but nothing anime yet )


Man, I really need to get some anime wallpapers. Though, it's been hard to find anything that I like. Any recommendations?

None taken and thanks for the other one. That girls is from Magna Carta if I'm not mistaken, she's quite mainstream (keeps popping up on deviantart). I have a few other versions of her as well. I prefer the darkness and the blue (goes with my theme).

PS. would you happen to have a bigger version of the one in the link?

Heh, I didn't stretch my wallpaper, my screen res is 1600x900. It just works best with my monitor (widescreen 19 inch). Strange monitor I got for my birthday a couple years ago. But anyways, rcxAsh, http://www.downloadanime.org/ has good wallpapers, that's where I've gotten a couple of mine. Anyone know of good places for XP skins and themes? I really need a new one, cuz this one's getting boring. This is the wallpaper for my non-internet computer (yes they DO exist).

For all you Naruto manga readers, wait, yah it hasn't been there in the anime yet, it's a pretty cool wallpaper. I'm gonna upload all my cool wallpapers and put them on my site, so check it out later. Anyone got any good Full Metal Alchemist wallpapers? Mines great, but I'm always looking for new ones.

ehh i apoligize,i believe this is the biggest one that they got =/.i thought 1600 x 1200 would be plenty. Hmm i guess u have to join www.minitokyo.net in order to get a good size.

Internet surfing god, eh? lol

Lol, I'm wondering if there's any "Chibits" (Chobits special) wallpaper out there.. I've grabbed a few screens from it (reassembled a few of the panning scenes too), but I'm not sure how to turn them into nice looking wallpaper lol.

For example, here's a screen I grabbed:


Wallpaper with Sumomo annoying Kotoko would be nice (the only wallpaper I found with them had them coexisting nicely.. lol.. don't want that.. hehe). Hmm. I'm tired... or, any nice looking wallpaper from Uninhabited Planet Survive, Full Metal Panic/Fumoffu.. Stellvia of the Universe... hmm.. yah.. Well, don't spend your time looking and looking.. but if you happen to see anything, I would love to know.

Yeah, that's a very cool discovery. It's speculated that there are hundreds of Sedna-like objects beyond Pluto and Neptune. They're just hard to find because they don't emit light and are likely smaller than Pluto.

I love looking at space images. Man, I wish I had an interstellar spaceship. T_T
