    The Hipster Olympics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAO4E...eature=related

"He's checking to see if each of the contestants is adequately hung over"

"Oh, it looks like illicit drugs have officially entered play"

"That's not the level of scorn I'd expect from a top competitor!"

"I haven't seen performances like this since last year's Douchebag Summer Games in out in sunny Santa Monica, California!"

Long time no see kenshin. I've got the second book starting to come along now, which you can read in the fanfiction thread. Let's just say that my portrayal of a certain species should be thoroughly entertaining for you.

Oh, quick question. I've got a few different titles I'm thinking of for book 2. Let me know which would interest you more in picking up the book and reading.

    "Claymore: New World Order"

    "Claymore: Rise of the Romanows"

    "Imperial Dawn"

Alright kenshin, I've "Shelterified" (cleaned up, reworded, simplified and chopped off unnecessary details/plot) Chapters 1-9, so you should really enjoy the reading experience now. Total length is down 14 pages, from 181 to 167. It'd be nice to get a review sometime if you're not bogged down with homework.

Kenshin, I have to admit I didn't think asking you about which Aussie state you were from would scare you into not replying. I'm pretty sure I'm not the Aussie equivalent of the Tasmanian devil. You know I was just curious, and being the big fan of Australia that I am, I thought I'd ask. You have any fun reading yet? I'm in the midst of making chapter 3 a far more engrossing read. This looks to be perhaps the last major plot addition I'll be making for now, so don't worry about any other edits changing things too much.

Hey Kenshin, have you ever read this series? http://www.citymanga.com/wolf_guy_-_...chapter-67/03/ If you haven't, try it a little and see if it suits you.

BTW Kenshin, whereabouts in the Land of Oz are you from? New South Wales? Victoria? Queensland? Tasmania? South Australia? Western Australia? Or, rarity of rarities, the Northern Territory? If I remember right David Letterman's favorite question for Aussie actors/actresses is asking how many things in your country can kill you. In the spirit of that theme, I'd like to ask an, ahem, "important" question: Have you ever gotten stung by an Irakanji Jellyfish? Props to you if you did, as you must be one badass son-of-a-gun. (How does one spell that btw?)

You clearly didn't read Shelter's review. I do think however you'll find the changes improve the chapters. It's hard for me to disagree with Shelter's review, and I think you'll find my rebuttal revisions more than answer his criticisms. You'll find several new sections in Chapter 8, with a few of the old sections gone. Please let me know when you've reviewed the chapters. I'm anxious to find out what your impressions are on the various changes, and I do hope you enjoy them.

Now that's what Shelter thought of them originally. You'll note most of those issues mentioned have now been thoroughly taken care of.

BTW Kenshin, did you enjoy the changes I made to Chapter 8? If you read Chapters 6-8 straight through now it ought to come off a lot more entertaining and easy to read. Let me know if anything leaves you dissatisfied. I'll do what I can to fix whatever you find.

    http://newsfeed.time.com/2010/07/23/...-bank-robbery/

"If you've seen a man dressed in a Darth Vader costume, Long Island Police urge you to report it immediately! Long Island Police would however like to clarify that deporting the entire Darth Vader contingent of the Australian Comic-con to the US for questioning is appreciated but unlikely to help." - If you can think of a really good quote to go with this incident, feel free to let me know!

"I find your lack of cash disturbing".

"You want to apprehend the Darth Vader robber? That's easy, just go to the nearest Star Wars convention. He'll be the only Darth Vader who's not living in his mom's basement!"-heard on Globe & Mail website

(I updated the Prologue and Chapter 1, so if you head back, you'll find they should be better reads than before (grammatically & POV-wise). Expect similar refinements to Chapters 2 & 3 soon)
