Always knew that Nolan can't resist throwing surprises towards the end. Ra's true identity in Begins. Two Face in TDK. And now

But it was of little surprise given that IMDB spoiled the surprise with the credit listing months prior.

About Bane now

It was lame that he was reduced to being a tool of Talia at then end and not his own man, and a weak one at that.

The movie never goes into details of how Bane figured that Wayne is Batman and how he managed to find Wayne's Arsenal, but the best straight explanation is that Talia feed it to him, so there goes Bane's intellect through the window.

And you can clearly see Bane falls to the ground wriggling the moment the first mask pipe was cut. I know that in the comic lore Bane's sole weakness is his dependance on Venom, but he still manage to keep fighting for quite a while after his feed was severed. The movie could have at least show him fighting for a while more.

And the biggest diss on the character of all, he falls to a single shot from the Pod's cannon. Truly anticlimatic. And I do not know if it was Nolan's intention to set Bane up as a Pedo.

And they were serious about not mentioning the Joker at all. It might be really nice to see Joker

hijacking the nuke, outsmarting both Bats and Talia at the end

as a subplot.
