Unless it's talking about Batman rising from the ashes of TDK... which again would make little sense, as he rises just to fall again, going against Bane. Either that, or the producers don't want to put such an ominous title with The Dark Knight (Like Final Act or such)

It actually doesn't matter if Bruce loses against Bane. The main problem with the previous film was that Batman sacrificed his own good name to protect Harvey. If Batman become a hero in the eyes of the people again, it is a victory no matter what else happens.

I like the trailer. It doesn’t tell too much about the story so that there’s still something left for me to comprehend when I watch the actual movie. Unlike Captain America’s trailer, for example, which is a compressed version of the movie right from the beginning to the end (don't get me wrong, I'm NOT a Marvel hater or a Batman fan-boy). Nowadays, it’s refreshing to see a trailer that don’t spoil too much of the plot.

I still can't help but be impressed with the idea that her cat ears are actually night vision goggles. Really, there wasn't any way to justify the traditional ears being what they are. But what's done was a flash of genius. Even better, the goggles also come with the face attachment that looks like the old school catwoman mask.

Now we just need to justify her high heels...

I'm not too big a fan of her initial costume. It looks nice and well constructed and I'm glad it's an homage to the Julie Newmar days, but I just think the more modern Catwoman looks a lot better. It's just a matter of taste. Regardless, I'm sure Hathaway will do a good job. Can't wait.

There's a pretty awesome new viral campaign, the reward being pieces of the third trailer!

There're addresses all over the world on The Dark Knight Rises.com where you can find "evidence" of the Batman that you can then take pics of and Twitter/email in, which unlocks a new frame of the trailer! North American streets are going to be up soon, apparently. The unlocked frames can be seen here.

Or, you know, you can just wait till the trailer's released with the Avengers in the US

This film is entirely different from Avengers. So it would be unfair to both to compare them to each other.

It would be like asking me to decide if I like steak or icecream more. Yes, they both came from comic books, but that's where the similarities end.

If we look back at the previous 2 Nolan's Batman outings, there's always 2 villans involved in each. Ra's al Ghul and Scarecrow. Joker and Two Face.

The latest Trailers still offer us no clue if Nolan is going to throw another anatgonist besides Bane. (No, Catwoman doesn't strike me as a villan here.) It could be a surprise though since Two Face was revealed at the 11th hour prior to TDK's premier.
