I agree with this, even though people often will chastise you with the tired old line, "you don't vote, you can't complain who gets elected."
Sadly, my vote has
no effect on who gets elected. As Itherko already mentioned, I live in CA. CA's electoral vote is for the Dems regardless, even if I want to vote for a Green or Independent.
