Swordsman!
Hello! I'm searcing for a swordsman/samurai anime that is somewhat serious and contains a lot of action. I don't know why but latley I've become totally hooked on samurai and ninja stuff. I've seen Berserk and Rurouni Kenshin, I liked both of them very much but I want something like the violence from Berserk mixed with the seriousness from Rurouni Kenshin + more actions. Anyone got any ideas??? Thanks

Ninja Scroll and Basilisk are all I could really think of. They're both pretty violent, and they take themselves very seriously.

Samurai Champloo is a must watch
Samurai 7 combines mecha with samurai action so I'm not sure whether you'd like it Le Chevalier D'Eon takes place in a french historical setting, and has good swordfights And a currently airing one, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto should be qualified as one too |

Second Samurai Champloo
and try also Peace Maker Kurogane Less action, but the story is realy great.

These 2 animes were not mentioned above so listed them both are shrouded in mythology with Kyo being more . They are classic Samurai genre while Kyo is a little old Bakumatsu is still ongoing . I ate Samurai Deeper Kyo as the best Samurai type anime .
