The manga series 'Orient' is getting a TV anime adaptation according to the latest scans.

That was bad, worse than I remembered in the manga. Mediocre animation, overbundance of paning shots and jarring stock sounds. Motorcycle ramming into demon out of nowhere was worst part, they didn't even show when Kojiro picked up Musashi's pickaxe.

If you want some medieval Japan-ish atmosphere with bushis and katanas, you can't just randomly insert these funky bikes. It's just funny, not cool. Then again, these katanas look more like tachis and scythes, so uh... Not sure what to think about that. Also, these evil evil bushis are forced to have weapons on them? Average at best, boring elsewise. 6/10 ...What else is there to say? Very average shounen anime.
