Well if someone liked the series and haven't read the manga when they do read it they are going to be "Holy cow, This is GREAT!!!excellent piece of work" It is one of the best stories that i have ever read. The characters , the plot, the drama EVERYTHING! I wish I could watch it as an anime too. It's shame that they haven't adapted sth as great as MARs into an anime yet.

Mars.... Well, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all, right? I'll just say that it's one of the most ridiculously overwrought and excessively melodramatic series I've ever read and leave it at that.

Mars
Mars is one of the best, most epic romance manga.
Mars is about Kira, a shy girl with a secret past who is dating Rei, a rebellious motorcycle rider with a dark past himself. The two have a deep relationship and are committed. Their relationship gets more serious and they begin having sex and move in together. There are dark secrets in their pasts involving rape, suicide and much more. Kira and Rei have a serious relationship, and throughout their relationship learn about their pasts. SUMMARY: Quote:

I'm surprised there is a thread for this classic romance shoujo manga. Anyways, I picked this up recently and finished the first two volumes. The romance hasn't developed well that much but it seems like Kira is madly in love with Rei. I've been informed that the second half of this manga(volume 5+) is phenomenal in comparison to the weak first arc so I can't wait to read the rest of Mars.
Also, this had a live action but no anime? That's too bad but I hope this can get anime adaptation [as recently, Kiseijuu got a anime by Madhouse too]. ^^ |
