If Favre (and GB) were smart, they'll wait 'till the team is in the gutter (or at least not a legitimate contender) before retiring him.
Not to be a diva, but because that atmosphere will allow fans to be less uptight and trollish over the messy exit than if they were to do the ceremony while GB was doing great/playing for a SB.

It would be nice for Brett Favre if he could retire as a champ. I also heard that Charles Woodson may be returning to the team where his career all started. And Ravens' new middle linebacker Rolando McClain, is calling it quits at the age of 23. That guy wasn't even part of Baltimore Ravens for a month and he is now retiring!

What about thoughts about Jay Harris, the kid who turned down a scholarship to play football at Michigan State for a career in rapping? |

McClain 'retiring' is a pretty good move imo. He's only 23, so I imagine that he'll be back next season. By retiring, he is basically admitting that he has a problem and that he needs time to correct himself.

NFL in a partnership with Xbox One. Sadly, very sketchy on the details. Does it mean we can skip cable and football games will be included with a Gold membership? The NFL is pretty much the ONLY thing that keeps me from completely cutting off my cable.
It's hard to see how that Fantasy Football integration shown in the demo would work unless there was some tight integration. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh...neeeeeeeed... .deeeeeeeeeeeeetails.

Man, here I thought the situation on the Jaguars were becoming better. They are, but they lost two major figures already. Everyone knows about Justin Blackmon DUI that cause a 4 game suspension.
Now Maurice Jones Drew reportedly and was witness punching and KO a security guard after being asked to slow his roll being touchy with a woman. MJD is the last person I expected to do this. What is going to happen now I wonder, suspension is a no doubt but for how long. Also, a funny news. Keyshawn Johnson reportedly chase down Justin Bieber after he was speeding in his Ferrari. Keyshawn chase Justin Bieber to his house in a Prius, blocked the Ferrari with the Prius. Justin Bieber saw him and run back into his house. All I got to say is laugh out loud and start rolling on the floor. |

It seems that Tim Tebow is a New England Patriot, As a Patriots fan I am not sure how I feel about this. He might just end up being a back-up and doing nothing but who knows what Belichik (I know I spelled that wrong) is thinking about using him as.

I would have to agree with you as well, possibly a running back to allow for some wildcat play? He obviously won't be the starting QB but I highly doubt that Tebow will play no role either. Bill knows all the hype around Tebow so if he was just going to put him on the bench all year I don't think he would have signed him. Then again it is also possible Bill doesn't care about the hype at all and just wants to give Tebow a try before cutting him in the pre-season, guess we will have to wait and see.
