-Lulu (sans mask) confronts Cornelia. Cornelia is shocked and appalled that he would kill Clovis and Euphie for Nunnally's sake. Lulu geasses Cornelia into telling him details about Marianne's murder. A geassed Cornelia states that she doesn't know who killed Marianne, but that it was Marianne herself (!) who told Cornelia to lower the security the night she died.
Lulu: Were you (Ane-ue) the one who killed my mother?
Cornelia: That's wrong....
Lulu: Then, who was it?
Cornelia: I don't know... *Lulu gasps*
Lulu: At that time, it was you who ordered the lowered security.
Cornelia: Yes....
Lulu: Why did you lower the security?
Cornelia: I was asked to....
Lulu: By who?!
Cornelia: Marianne-sama
Lulu: *gasps again in utter shock* Mother did-?! It can't be-! That's-! At that time, Mother already knew about the attack?! No, that can't be possible-! But then, (trans. note: I don't really understand this line, but it basically came across as "what happened?!") What happened that day?! Who was it?!!!!! *Lulu starts breaking down* Who was it that killed my mother?????!!!!!
Cornelia: *motions like she's about to respond, but stops like she doesn't know what to say)
Apparently, the emperor ordered Schneizel to remove the body, however. Note: this was such an awesome scene when he comes to the realization that everything that he he had been doing this entire for his mother (by killing his siblings) had been pointless because Cornelia doesn't know and it looks like neither the emperor nor Schneizel killed her. He then yells at geassed Cornelia, asking what's inside the
(Marianne's) coffin, when C.C. gasps, shocked, and yells at Lulu that he has to return quickly because Nunnally's been taken. This scene was slightly strange in that the moment C.C. gasps was the moment Lulu asked about the coffin. Although the previous scene it looked like she was listening to something else besides Lulu's conversation, the interruption was too perfectly timed..... She tells him that she's at Kaminejima (the place from eps.18-19).
-It's at that moment Orange-kun(!!!!!) shows up with an "ALL HEIL BRITTANIA!!!!" and starts yelling at Zero. When Lulu states "What?! Could it be Orange?!" Jeremiah motions like he's about to say "ORAAAAANGE-KUN!!!!" again, but instead says "PLEASE! ("Onegai desu") Could you die?" and clasps his hands together. This entire scene it looked like he was going to have a spasm XD And his mech (Siegfried) is ridiculously awesome.
- Lloyd and Cecile have a conversation that this happened because he treated someone like a part. Cecile in pilot suit = awesome. (She has a mech similar to Lancelot)
-The BK are currently trying to open up the back of Lancelot with Laksharta's guidance.
-Lulu, trying to reach Ougi, gets Minami (another member <---the megane one) and finds out about Ougi getting shot, but casually dismisses it in favor of asking about the handicapped girl. The fact Zero could care less about Ougi (one of the most important members) and more about some random girl completely shocks Minami. Lulu hangs up on him. Geez, Lulu, you're making too many enemies among your own men. Isn't the geass supposed to prevent situations like these
Lulu then proceeds to call Rivalz to ask about Nunnally, but finds out the student council isn't with her and that she stayed behind in the clubhouse.
-Siegfried vs. Gawain XDDDDDDDDDDD Jeremiah's eye is crazy O_o.
-Tamaki thinks they should just kill the students, but then Suzaku comes out on his own. Arthur (the true protagonist
) leaps at Tamaki and distracts him. Cecile and the Avalon come out just in time to evacuate the students on board the Avalon and replace Lancelot's missing arm with a Gloucester arm. Suzaku gets a tranmission from Cornelia telling him to come.
-Toudou meanwhile is facing dilemmas of his own when Zero informs him he's leaving Toudou in charge. Toudou (obviously) is completely shocked the commander would leave in the middle of the battle. Lulu -_-;;;;;.......
-A dying Cornelia tells Suzaku that Zero will be at Kaminejima and honors him as a knight
-Kaguya and Diethard (Zero's number 1 fans
) find out that Zero left the battlefield and are completely confused and saddened by the news. The BK are freaking out about this. Ougi tells Kallen to follow Zero for her brother's sake and Kallen sees Lancelot flying out toward Kaminejima
-Nina and Ganymede appears. Lloyd yells at Raksharta to tell everyone to stop fighting when he spots the sakuradite bomb. Everyone is shocked at the possibility of the bomb exploding as Nina is incredibly psycho and trigger-happy. She cries out 'Where is ZERRROOOOOO?!!!!" as C.C. and Lulu arrive at Kaminejima.
-Once arriving at the foot of the cave, C.C. tells Lulu that she actually doesn't know who took Nunnally. As Gawain enters the cave, it is swarmed by glowing hair like things that bring it into a geass/mind-h4x sequence. C.C. suddenly realizes what's going on, but is unable to do anything to stop it. This was ridiculously awesome. Lulu sees C.C. running through a battlefield along time ago (the same as in that picture the scientists had) until she is cornered and shot in the forehead. Lulu screams for this to stop as images of C.C. being burned at the stake along with the geass church, a bloody iron maiden, a guillotine, flying spears (Unlimited Blade Works anyone?), then the image of the bloodied C.C. at the pulpit of the church (like in the end) fly past. This was extremely freaky as the scene was coupled with C.C.'s scream O_O
-Meanwhile, Kallen is flying past the wreckage toward Kaminejima
-The image of Jupiter appears agains with images of the castle (the one that appeared in past geassh4x sequences and the one C.C.'s looking at in the ending) and that glowing light (which now seems like not a light, but a gigantic explosion) A naked C.C. tells Lulu that these are her past memories as a witch. The handless clock, the image of one of the Buddhas, and a strange rocky spiral (new image! I think it's either a bizarre cloud or something like an ammonite shell) Lulu tells C.C. she's not alone and that they're partners in crime as a pendulum swings and feathers appear around them.
-Orange attacks again and C.C., after kissing(!) Lulu, drops him off. The following Gawain vs. Orange fight is incredibly awesome and set to "Stories", it's like something out of Eureka 7 XD
-Inoue is killed T__T All the BK are depressed and having mental breakdowns
- Lulu goes toward the geass door, but is interrupted by Suzaku w/ gun who alerts Kallen, asking her if she want's to know Zero's true face. Suzaku alerts Lulu of his knowledge of the geass and shoots off Lulu's mask in the most awesomely animated sequence in the show. Suzaku, although suspecting this the entire time, is completely floored that it really was him. Lulu admits he really is Zero. Kallen completely breaks down at the revelation. Lulu then tells Suzaku that Nunnally was taken and ask for his assistance, but Suzaku refuses, screaming that Lulu is a traitor to the world and shakily points his gun at Lulu. Lulu is shocked and angered at this and reveals the Sakuradite bomb strapped to himself, but it isn't until Suzaku tells him that his existance is wrong and that he'll erase him and take Nunnally, that Lulu totally goes berzerk and points his gun viciously at Suzaku. They both scream at each other and begin to pull the triggers. The screen goes black and a shot rings out. Nunnally gasps.
-Colors then proceeds to play as the ending song. WORST CLIFFHANGER EVAR!!!!!!@_@ (This was so awesomely epic that it's awesomeness can't be contained.
-The screen then goes to a saddened C.C. who thinks about the existance of humans (Innocent Days was playing which made this entire scene incredibly depressing) C.C. cries and looks up toward the sun reflecting on the surface of the water. She smiles as she sinks with Siegfried into the depths of the ocean.
