Since no one else was in a hurry...
Code Geass presents viewers with a wide range of philosophically interesting themes and troupes, ranging from the situations of individual characters to overall trends in the plot to outright questions posed to the viewers themselves. This thread is for the discussion of those elements, including but not limited to: -Immortality -Evolution -War -Order vs. Chaos, Dominion vs. Freedom -What is Evil? What is Justice? And who decides? -Ashford Academy: What is the role of Ashford in the middle of a world war, and what responsibility does the school have to Japan? To Britannia? -The World of C: What exactly is the responsibility of the living to the dead? What about the dead to the living? -The Power of the King: are those with power doomed to be lonely? Will involving yourself in the world only lead to your own destruction, no matter which side you choose? -The Role of Fate: Were the events of Code Geass inevitable? Lelouch’s Rebellion? The destruction of the Specially Administrated District of Japan? The end of Lelouch and Suzaku’s friendship? -Memories: Nature vs. Nurture? Is it inevitable for the characters who suffer amnesia to repeat their actions even if they no longer know why? Does it depend on the character? -Zero: Does hiding your ‘true self’ help or hurt you? Are Suzaku and Kallen better off now that they’ve lost their ‘masks’? Does it benefit Lelouch to continue to hide his identity as the leader of the Black Rebellion from his family and friends? For a more in-depth discussion of the issues of morality in Code Geass, please use the Morality in Code Geass? Do the ends justify the means? thread. |

Will the new romance & fav character thread open as soon as the show starts, or after a few episodes? Will the old threads be left open for the newbies who just start watching this on Adult Swim, or are we free to bomb them with spoilers when they bump into the R2 romance thread? |

Such threads are only made after mid way, and finally at the end of the season.
Considering how some series are kinda slow at their start, launching various polls after only few episodes is kinda moot, especially if new characters join the fray only 10 episodes later or so. there will be new characters poll threads in the future.

Favorite Scenes from Code Geass
How about a Favorite Scenes from Code Geass there is a quotes thread but it doesnt fulfil the criterion for scenes . Quotes Dialogues do complimenti a scene but dont represent the dramatic scenes in itself .
I have a few scenes in R2 ep 1 which according to me were brilliantly executed to names a few * The 'Banzai Nippon' scene which was quite dramatic and also reminded or gave me a glimpse into history ala Kamikaze . * The scene where the Chinese Delegate's bodyguard snips of there belts quite flashy but well executed * Lulu hand movement introducing himself again as Zero * Or the Teaser scene where Suzaku swears he will kill Zero

Sounds good. Thread created from your post since your favorite scenes seemed a good place to start. Feel free to edit your first paragraph for appropriateness in a thread starter.

Considering Nina's involvement in season 1, and as she didn't even appear in season 2 yet, the character discussion for such character would be terribly moot.
More characters such like Toudou, some knights of the round etc would be more fitting. Whichever it will be, there will be no more character discussion until another character stands out, which will certainly happen in the future.
