Problem with Kyou_Kara_Maou_-_01_(S-Ai_-_L-E_-_2268F064).avi

This file is extremely pixelated through part of the episode, is anyone else having problems with this? I ran a video tester and it said I have all the codecs needed (it's xvid).. I'm wondering if it's a bad encode or maybe I just need to download it again.

Thanks!

Try updating your xvid to rc4.

I have it fixed now, Live-Evil's forum said about ffdshow so I downloaded that (I'm pretty sure I had it before, it might be a newer version) and that fixed it.

Sorry for the double post... but i needed to tell the viewers of this ep that i've confirmed the problem.....

XviD just came out with a new codec RC4 on April 5th .... please download it because i think future episodes might be using this codec not only for this anime but for some of the other anime titles as well.....

the download for XviD new codec can be found from the Live-Evil website...

chamelean75: I'm glad that your problem has been solved, but... I still think that you should try and playing that file in a regular player, not VLC. Now, uninstall ffdshow and XviD, then install XviD again, after that try to play the file in WMP 9, if it still doesn't work, try Windows Media Player 6.4. Click Start>> Run, type mplayer2 and click OK... Now just drag-and-drop the file into the program's window, or go to File>> Open. If it still doesn't work, then... I wish you happy living with VLC!

This episode is a bit too heavy for my poor old computer. Sigh... Newest XVid with QPel and GMC enabled. Still I can play it.
