The first post stated this....

"According to Viz's website, they've just updated their release schedule for July and August.

Then EisoViz, one of the PR people for Viz said this

"Actually it came as a result of the "unscientific poll" of how the reader would like to see future releases of long series...I believe one of the popular answers were as long as monthly releases had the same quality as bi-monthly...the readers would buy 'em at this advanced pace.

Anyways, I do forward all of your comments and recommendations to the "decision makers". Whether they decide in your favor or not, in some cases, it's not in my hands. But many of us here at VIZ do highly value your opinions."

So there you have it, even though websites like Animeondvd.com or Animenewsnetwork.com haven't said anything about it here is the information that confirms that Viz is releasing Kenshin Monthly

that's indeed good news for those currently reading the series, I read them in french and I hated it when i had to wait to get the next manga. 28 manga's will take long enough as it is...

Oh yeah, and Spread the word that kenshin is going from bi-monthly to monthly

This is HUGE news considering that it is one of the highest selling series of all time and of course one of the most popular.

Yes I agree that it is great that Kenshin is being released monthly. If a series is short I don't mind waiting longer for each volume, but if it is more than five books, I think that they should be released monthly. It looks like that Viz might be doing this because TokyoPop has it's own long running Samurai manga and they are in competition with each other.

Good thing its going monthly! I only buy shoen jump gn's because they are the cheapest. I follow BLeach and kenshin

I might invest in hellsing manga but it is so much more expensive I hate darkhorse!
