Epi airs Monday (I think) thats usually when I see the raw and subs are normally out on Tues.

I called it Wok and that thingie that you do stir fry with.

And techically the episode is aired on Fridays, but you can only view the episode on (japanese) mobile phones, you usually get a sound or cam version on Friday/Saturday. The episode is released on the internet on Monday, that is when you get the raw. GG are generally speed subbers, so the release day for Hetalia ranged from Monday to Wednesday, depending on the fansubber's own timetable. Usually Tuesday. At least that's what I noticed.

WHERE'S GERMANY'S MARUKAITE CHIKYUU?! Weirdly this is currently my favourite version, must be because of the deep voice. I just loved how 'Wurst' is pronounced.

Interesting fact. According to wiki, Latvia fought in both side of the camp (Germany and Russia) in WWII. Latvian citizens were conscripted into both armies... poor country. "Baltic Germans" left Latvia and subsequently Latvia was occupied by Russia who pulled basically controlled Latvia's government so Latvia had to do what was told (hence Latvia's fear of Russia and his desire to join Germany in Hetalia).

Well, it's two different Latvias you're looking at here. The NSDAP fostered many fascist parties as Germany marched east, and Latvia is no exception. While many are forced to join, there is still a sizeable minority who joined to further their own agenda.

America's chara single will have a song called 'Hamburger street'. That is giving good vibes, chances is that it'll be as popular as The delicious tomato song and Pud 'n' Go (Well it is related to fish 'n' chips, so I thought that'll sound more british). I want an ear worm.

France's preview is pretty...graceful. But lacks the ear worm aspects compared to Tomato song and Pub 'n' Go.

Tomato is definitely an earworm Havent heard Pub 'n' Go but I also dont normally listen to character songs either.

I only read the strip on England visiting Japan once, since I'm no big fan (almost anti) englandxjapan. But episode 30 made it quite well, melo-drama is melo-drama.

ENGLAND FANSERVICE FANSERVICE FANSERVICE. I expected england wrapping a towel around his vital regions, but they only drew it with those wooden bucket (?) covering it. AND england in traditional Japanese clothing (topless). Onsen = fanservice for any gender and nationality (sorry for the lame pun).

I would believe that the OST would be an 'extra' included in some DVD (probally the last volume, there isn't that much background music in this show), I don't think the OST would sustain a good CD sale. The most background music we can get is the chibitalia theme which is included in Marukaite chikyuu single.

I know there's 2 background music from the drama CD that is originally from Otome wa boku koishiteru. So you might want to check that out.

It will be released on 25th Nov 2009. So it's quite a wait if you want the OST. But it would include a song with the Axis, so Italy, Germany and Japan will sing a song together. That would be pretty hard to mix together, they all got different voices. I think it would include the TV versions of all the Marukaite Chikyuu that would be used in 'season two'. It's priced at 2,200 yen, so the price of a mini album.

And with the character singles, currently released in order:

Italy
Germany
Japan
England

Unreleased:

France (there's a preview up already)
America (We got the track listing)

China

England reached 6th on the Oricon charts, and sold 31k. This is quite a feat for a character single, it sold better then Hirano's Super Driver (HA!), it would have gotten 2nd/3rd on the charts if it was sold one week before.
