You should just use mibbit, it's an extremely easy to use web-based irc application, so no downloads. You can use it on the fly whenever you feel to need to see if it's available.

It'll only take 4 or 5 more days for the raws to come out, because raw paradise did it as an abnormal speed. I see no problem with this.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how they got their raws so early. The only way I can think of is a leak in the companies... which means the magazines better start scrutinizing their own staff for piracy.

Chapter 46 was interesting. My impressions from the raw didn't really change with the translation. I understand that cute face Kikaijima was making at the end of the chapter now, though. xD It's interesting that king dude is so hardcore, but isn't part of the Plus 6. I guess the way they're hardcore is different. It probably has to do with the difference in the basic way their abilities work.

Nah, was trying to remember the raw from memory. I'm just saying the writing seems a bit confusing. I think it's just the way Nishio says things. Like the part about Hard Wrapping caught using his auto-pilot (not sure what he meant by that),

The auto-pilot part refers to Takachiho's abnormal reflex ability. During his fight with Medaka he said his body/brain is on auto-pilot. He also said that if he is an auto-pilot then Medaka is an automatic since she has no reflexes.

They were just saying the rumors about his ability are true since he was the only one who avoided getting captured.

Medaka still has a handful of potential cushions left. I have my guess about which one will be the definite one but all that matters is that something ends up taking the fall for it.

The chapter being rated isn't that one but the Kujira Kurokami reveal chapter and the explanation of Maguro's motives for starting and participating in the Flask Plan.

Gintama often falls in the bottom 5. The series fluctuates up and down the ToC. Exactly like Bakuman.

That's 2 chapter in a row that it dropped back down now. I honestly don't know what the Japanese readers like and don't like about the manga. I was surprised that the ecchi chapter did poorly as they usually boost ratings a bit... maybe they thought the reveal that Naze was actually Kujira a bit over the top in the latest rankings?'

Judging from the higher rankings that they had, it seems like people like Zen, Last Carpet and Koga... not so much everyone else. I think it's the drama of the Kurokami siblings that people aren't really into. I agree as I find the other characters far more interesting (though Kujira isn't too bad).

Am i the only one here who's surprised at the fact that cliché manga like "Lock-On!", currently is receiving higher ratings then Gintama, Medaka Box and Psyren?

It's gone from enhanced physical abilities, to super-enhanced abilities (reflexes, super strength, etc) to full-on mutations. Suddenly, I feel like I'm reading an X-Men comic. o.O Breath holding for a month seems a bit extreme, though. Her lungs would have to be the size of Jupiter, especially considering she's talking and screaming as well. I found the first part kind of confusing with the battle between Plus 6 and the others without the images to reference. As for 48... Spoiler: Nothing much to go on. Another 4 page background in an attempt to get us to care about the character (my biggest issue with the manga is still the fact that there's way too many characters that most just feel pointless and redundant). Kikaijima uses her voice to cave the ceiling in and take down Mask-girl, who seems to be obsessed with King. Then King appears and will probably rape Kikaijima while Zen and the others snooze. Then next chapter, Shiranui will show up and save everyone by eating King, as Zenkichi continues to be a minor player (another pet peeve of mine is that he feels really unimportant to the story for being a main protagonist, but that's just my opinion). __________________
