Here I am thinking whether did they really ran 42km, and it turns to be only 4-5. More realistic and lucky girls, they got the whole day off for such a short run.
The last part is possibly the funniest scene in the series so far, with Yui spurring the others on, and Mio with that ninja roll of hers. Are we gonna get a new song next week? Sure hope so. |

4-5 km? I would be dead by the end x_x
In my school we only ran 1 mile aka 1km and 600m at the stadium, that already was a killer for me x_x I really don't get it, I do sports from early childhood but my stamina is horrible... and I despise running. Otherwise episode looked more fun with subs, Mio sure will rise her fan club number by that roll. Oh, looks like the next episode will get us back on track and closer towards the concert. Wonder what kind of songs does Mugi write... will they be similar to Mio's?

Sawako trying to make the course harder by putting it alongside a shopping dictrict =
That plan actually working on Yui = She and the brunette girl with a ponytail who ran by in the background when Mio decided that she didn't want to finish last at the start of the race were my favorites of the episode Now to figure out plot reasons to why more weather reports need to be shown... Of the top of my head, there's so far this season been that song on the list in the first episode, Mugi's Honey Sweet Tea Time, Pure Pure Heart, and now Mio's new song, with only one of them heard on the show and released on CD yet... And that's without at least two songs mentioned to have been written in the manga around this time (with yet another two, if Yui and Ritsu's less serious suggestions ended up actually being composed)

Well even with subs the ep was still kinda overall little boring, it's not without it's amusing parts tho, espeically the bit at the end, thats what I can a roll.
Red bean soup for after party reward! man wish I had that at my old school, altho we never had to do any kinda runs have no idea why but when I went to watch subs I was still expecting my Himeko-chan to show up>__<

More proof that Yui will probably never truly grow up. Not that I mind, it's what I love about her.
So, Mio is now skilled enough in terms of songwriting to think songs up on the spot? That's nice, but will we ever get to hear all that we've heard about so far? The lack of music isn't bothering me, but the constant teasing we get is what's killing me. And Mio's roll was awesome. I expected this to be another "well-endowed girl wins by bust size" finish, but this worked better IMO.

Rather slow-paced episode we have here, not that it's a bad thing although I didn't like it as much as I liked the other episodes of S2. The scene at the end with them racing towards the finish line was hilarious though, probably the funniest moment for me in S2.
Oh, yes indeed.
