Yep, he's almost certainly quite important within the police department. It's also in line with how the Kouta, Saya, and Saeko also have important parents. Only Takeshi's mom is normal
Saya's parents (who are most likely dead now given how we saw them last time) kind of bugged me, to be honest. People within the manga were worried about an ultra right wing party having connections to Yakuza, but what bugs me is that Saya's dad gets painted as some kind of hero. These are essentially the same people who say that Japanese war crimes never happened, after all. |

And at it's current pace, I reckon the anime will struggle to get through the third volume of the manga. Leaving plenty of room for either a couple of OVAs or another season if the Sato's get another couple of volumes done.

IIRC, Takeshi's mother is a professor at an university? Then, there's a strong tendency that she would turn out to be quite significant after all.

I could think of no place worse to be in a zombie situation. Even if they were zombies, I'd find it hard to kill children. I get the jitters just thinking about it.

I just read the past couple chapters and I didn't understand how Rei "figured out what was going on" between Saeko and Takashi. Did I miss a couple pages? She just looked pissed at the beginning of the chapter and then suddenly walked up to Takashi and said that she figured it out. Are we just supposed to infer what happened between Saeko and Takashi arriving at the mall and Rei supposedly figuring out their relationship?

Nah, they are going at three episodes per volume right now, so they should have no problem covering up to an including volume 4. I think they might even go a bit past the Saya's house arc and include the Takashi/Saeko park "date" They will most likely skip the whole airport chapter, too, since that focuses on a side character who is not really relevant to the story as of yet.

Chapter 11 and 12
What the hell is the problem of the teacher with the glasses doing a orgy on the bus......it somehow pissed me off! Seriously what the hell was that....and Saya's father/mother are nicely done....serious for now unless they have super non censored stuff regarding the bath scene around chapter 6/7 for the ecchi.......the manga so far is 10 times better than the anime.

Anime's doing a good job of it so far IMHO. Some scenes are even better than in the manga, like when Takashi goes out to prove the "they can't see us" theory. |
