isn't that name the exact same name as one of the big anime information sites?

Neeuuuu, the picture looks like it's a loligoth anime or something to that extent, I hope it isn't! Oh well. I could do with less anime to watch, of course.... and that was a stereotype earlier...

INteresting how it does, indeed, have the same name as Moon Phase, a well known Japanese anime info site...

Seems to be something about a small vampire coming to Japan to look for her mother?

I don't know if there really are two persons with that similar names (note that the kanji can be romanized both ways), but the person for Moon Phase is the same as for Petit Cossette, and for that I have already verified Sekijima.

this is definitely one anime that I'm going to watch, since I love Shinbou Akiyuki's style (although I heard others disliking the "obscurity and randomness" in his animes), and the art style shown in the website looks very neat

With the additional staff that I just added, a trend becomes increasingly apparent...
A lot of them have worked on either Soul Taker or Petit Cossette or both...
Now this is just pure speculation on my part, but it feels like Geneon will snatch this title...

If they don't stray too far from the manga, with the addition of Midou Hikaru and Kaoru it means they will cover at least 9 vols and probably more (8 vols out, but Hikaru appeared in what will be vol 9 and I can't remember seeing her before that).
With 57 chapters out so far, I'm guessing it will certainly be 26 or more eps.

I have some mixed feelings about this show. The backgrounds are VERY nice and the music did really fit in well. But I have some isssues with it.

1. The first ep starts very nice with some really gothic feeling to it. Then I watch one of the worst OP I have ever seen in an anime. Maybe the Love Love? OP is worse, I'm not sure yet. It totally ruins the atmosphere it just built up. Aaargh, 'Neko Mimi Mode', It will give me nightmares. And this happens (IMO) too often in the show. It goes from serious to comedy and back. Within an instant.

2. The character designs. First, those cat ears are terrible, but I think I can get used to them. But I thought the character designs were kind of dull, and I think for some reason that they didn't fit in with the gorgous backgrounds. Also character animation was uneven. For the most parts it was average, but occasionally when they used different shadowing, different lighteffects and odd angles it was way better.

Apart from that I think it has a good potential and I'll definately keep watching it for now.

Spoiler for Screens:

The OP is absolutely off in terms of the mood that it's trying to bring to the audience. It starts out great with the dark, moody, gothic atmosphere (e.g., a boatman poling his way across a lake/river with a scythe, hits a sunken spar, and as the boat sinks with a cross inside, he explodes into bats winging away), and then... degenerates into cute comedy lolicon shots - cat ears, meows, cute pawings and all. I felt like one of those characters falling over from something another character had said or did that threw me for a loop.

Otherwise, a fair series, but it was hard to get back to the gothic mood after that OP.

Watched the first episode and I liked the OP actually. It actually fits the playful nature of Hatsuki as you will see in this episode. I haven't read the manga so I don't know exactly what her character is like but that's what I felt after the first episode.

There are 2 or 3 scenes that can be less flashy but overall I think it's excellent. Very beautifully done and with a touch of erotic without being ecchi. This is definitely on my list of new anime to watch this season.

Saw caps for the show- though the cat girl was cute till she started biting into the jugular

Keep it up and add more gore and we'll get something to replace Elfen Lied when that one is over >_<

Tsukuyomi -Moon Phase-

Watched the raw of this spectacular show. It's completely gorgeous, in my silly opinion, with the cutest opening ever made. Even the credits have cat ears!

The show is about a little girl with cat ears who happens to be a vampire. A dorky photographer manages to get into her heavily guarded castle and eventually gets, er, a present from her.

See this, if only to enjoy the opening sequence.

Which file are you suggesting?
I checked all jpegs and the zip file (by using the latest Norton AntiVirus), but none of them contains any "threat".

Norton will give false positives. Also, if I remember right, to fix this false positive you did not install the GDI+ patch from MSFT (released about 2-3 weeks ago) on windowsupdate.

Norton is erroring on the safe side to prevent the jpeg exploit trojan.
