Can't even count the times I did that as well. Ok, I better leave since I think I'm giving you bad luck with my ideas

Yes, that's what I was thinking. How do you feel about it? I mean about the smaller size. It still has the feel of a forest and not of a random leafy background. The details are a bit better too.
I think it'd be nice to use smart sharpening filter and play around a bit. If you want to have a little bit of a lighter feel to the signature you could always create a separate, clean layer on top of all the previous ones, paint some random big spots using a white colored brush and then play around with 'motion blur' filter settings. I found that to be a great way to lessen the 'heavy' feel of a graphic and add a bit of a feathery feel. Also, I think it'd be nice to lighten up the colors a bit. Right now the signature has a feel of a very late 'sunset'. Also, ganbaru said it in the SOTM entry thread, about the text being less visible. The sig is great and you did a really good job on it. Some tweaks and it'll get even better

Urei-san: not sure how I feel about the size. As for the colors I reallyreallyreally don't wanna go in and try and adjust them again...but I might...or I might just change the text color or something...
I will try the brush thing and sharpening (do you mean auto sharpen?) edit: new try:

I really like your new draft, although as mentioned in the Entry thread, it feels as if it's actually winter that you wanted to present here I like the border since it's light and does not stand out too much.
About the sharpening filter. It's a powerful tool and you need to use it carefully since it can create artifacts all over the signature. I was referring to 'Smart Sharpening' filter which you can find in the filters section of Photoshop, under the 'Sharpen' tab. It's a great tool since it lets you pick the % of the sharpening as well as the radius. It also has the ability to remove all softs of grains and Gaussian/Motion blurs as well. Easy to go wrong though. Keep the good work!
