chapter 41-50.
Louis tortured Satella, but didn't do anything sexual to her since he realized incest is wrong, and is pretty much wangsting about why Satella had to be his sister since now he can't actually marry her and all that jazz. He originally just wanted to to always be together with Satella, yet even knowing that it won't last didn't actually stop him from being a tryhard about it.
Of course I read through everything a bit fast so I probably missed how he went from "i want to protect and be with my sis forever" to "call me master mwhahahaha", but I guess it was the (il?)logical next step from his wangsting. Of course, when he prank kissed Satella on the neck Satella freaked the hell out about it, which probably contributed to his descent to madness, as he probably thought Satella hated him for it, and resolved to dominate over her.
He treated his Pandora sempai as a replacement (that ?sex scene? was her, not Satella). After a bit of life and death deal he realized while he used his sempai as a replacement for Satella, he actually fell in love with his sempai and is simply in denial about it.
After all that, Louis is "redeemed" as he gave the footage and everything to Aoi (he's the only one who know about it), and Aoi destroyed the flashdrive as a sign that "the past is over". He declined to say good bye to Satella at the airport, telling Aoi that it's not needed anymore, since he found his true partner.
Of course, whether you think Louis was worth redeeming's up to you. Personally though, I'm half and half about it. The fact he didn't do anything sexual to Satella directly earns him some points and he did it out of some twisted form of love, but for the mindraep he put Satella through takes a seriously sick mind imo and cost him quite some points from me as well.
Finally, Satella was afraid to tell Aoi that 6 of her stigma thingies were inherited from his sister since she though Aoi might hate her for it. During the final showdown Louis tried to use this against her but it completely blew up in his face when it turns out Aoi doesn't give a crap, and is simply happy that his sister's "legacy" is inside someone as nice as his sempai. So that's another obstacle cleared between Aoi and Satella.
But apparently all's well that ends well
Ch51
Basically expository, due to the 10th nova impact, they can't replace Pandoras fast enough so they authorized Evolution Pandora plan, with goal of creating stigmas that can be implanted in normal people. Aoi's dad doesn't think it's a good idea, but notes that situation is desperate. Chiffon, Elizabeth, Satellizer, and Rana were chosen.
On the hijinks side, Rana perceived Aoi and Satella to seem so much closer and got jealous, and decided to even the playing field by doing everything with Aoi, ending with invitation to sleep together, which got Aoi going wtf woman. Aoi told Rana there's no such relationship between him and Satella, and Rana leaves relieved. I'm not sure what the original supposed said, but in the chinese scan Aoi notes that his thoughts towards Satella is growing, so take that however you will.
Ch52
Something about people avoiding the 3rd years made them unhappy, so to mingle better, the 3rd years grabbed abunch of second years for a mixed soccer match, with the promise of all 2nd years on the winning team gets to join 3rd year's training circle and get to learn high level combat moves. Satellizer and Rana got dragged into different teams with the bet that whoever wins gets a date with Aoi. Hilarity ensue, including
1. Genessa tackling Sategllizer, gets chewed on for being from England but doesn't know the rules to soccer
2. Rana panics and trips, accidentally pulling down Elizabeth's pants. Elizabethe wanted Rana to get red card'd out, but Chiffon gave yellow card with the explaination "only cloth got touched, not body"
3. Elizabeth gets pissed, and purposely rip Rana's cloth off - "didn't touch body lol"
4. Rana does the same to Satellizer, gets Elizabeth pissed off more
Entire match essentially got canceled because Elizabeth and Rana went and ripped the cloth off of everyone, with the rest of third year lamenting now they'll be called the "Untouchable 3rd years"
Ch53
Expository chapter again. Everybody arrives in Alaska base for E project, meets abunch of people. Aoi learns the his dad was against this project. He also meets the #1 of US 3rd year Roxanne, who told his how his entire family seem to be involved. Aoi think Roxanne look like a kind person. Roxanne finds out Satellizer, the untouchable queen, and essentially says: "oh i heard of you, i must put your name to the test." The proceed to grope Satellizer, earning a yelling from Chiffon. Chiffon tries to tell Satellizer to ignore Roxanne thinking Satellizer will go berserker, except Satella just says she's suprised is all, making Roxanne go all "kawaii!" while Chiffon and Elizabeth wondering wtf happened.
Hijinks aside, Roxanne says while E project making normal human into Pandora sound nice, it also sound suspicious, as Prof. Aoi was against the idea to the end, which got Aoi thinking. Roxanne also says only reason project E got greenlit was because it already has some products, noting towards those girls in the final page.
Ch54
Hijinks side, Rana is jealous Aoi and Satella got put into the same room. Logically, Aoi puts Rana and Satella in the same room and grabbed an empty room all for himself (lol). They meet Cassie and her limiter again. Cassie's limiter essentially tanks Satella for saving Cassie, and told her he'd risk his life for Satella as payment, which got Cassie teasing him about it. Satella was relieved to see how easy going those 2 are and is probably thinking she want to have a similar relationship with Aoi.
Cassie then ask about baptizing, Satella tries to deflect the question, Rana essentially burst that bubble saying Satella didn't want to baptize due to "it's terrifying because of doing this and that", which got Satella and Rana going at each other again. Cassie simply says Aoi probably felt the same and told Satella it's best to tell Aoi this early. Cassie also said tomorrow they'll have a mock battle with the E. Pandora, and Satella has this unseasy feeling about the project.
Reason for the mock battle is the top brass wanted to comparison between regular Pandora and E. Pandora, of course the Pandoras themselves are curious too.
Round 1
E. Pandora vs Pandora from England. The Pandoras watch notes that the E. Pandora is impressive, but lacking, who also gets dropped in 1 hit. Satella notes that the England pandora was nothing special compared to Louis' pandora, was wondering why she isn't here, probably because she rejected the offer.
Round 2
E. Pandora vs pandora from korea. E. pandora gets dropped in a punch/kick combo to the chin, with the researchers noticing that the E. pandora is getting creamed so easily.
Round 3
E. Pandora Amelia vs Elizabeth.
Ch 55
Amelia is different in that she is able to materialize a volt weapon instead of using an existing solid weapon like the previous two. Elizabeth asks Amelia how strong she is compared to the other two. Amelia thought this is unnecessary, but Elizabeth corrects her in saying that she wants to know simply because that way she knows how much str to use, which obviously pisses off Amelia, who tells Elizabeth that she's about 3x stronger than the previous 2.
Amelia bascially don't want the regular pandora to look down on the e. pandora, because the e. pandora had to train hard to get to where they are, where as regular pandora are born with compatibility to the stigmas.
Elizabeth blocks Amelia's attack with one hand, telling her that she could easily dodged, and that she only did this not to look down on her, but to show her the vast difference of their power and for her to get prepare to get owned.
Amelia uses double accel, which doesn't work on Elizabeth obvious, who retaliates and knocks Amelia down with 1 hit. Elizabeth request the match to end, since double accel seem to be the best tech Amelia can use, and with the damage sustained, Amelia can't use accel anymore, but both the scientist and Amelia want to keep fighting until the latter "can no longer move", which Amelia saying that while she appreciate the thought, Elizabeth's kindness is only hurting her more.
Elizabeth attacks, and Amelia tanks the hits saying it's not enough. Not wanting to permanently hurt her, Elizabeth delivers a strong attack and knocks Amelia down, thinking the fight's over. But Amelia stands up again. At this point, the scientist end the match, and Elizabeth demands why now and not earlier? Scientist chick simply said that because the "can no longer move" criteria is cleared, that's when Elizabeth realized Amelia stood up, but is already unconscious.
Everybody remarks about how strong Elizabeth is to win w/o using her volt weapon, noting that Chiffon must be even more beastly. Elizabeth is bothered by the extend that these e. pandora would go to just in mock combat, which affects Satellizer too as both her and Amelia are determinators.
56-58
Elizabeth tried to get some team building going on with the E.Pandora to build some camaraderie, saying that they are all fighting for the same thing. Ice breaker worked well.
Top brass authorized use of Mark IV drug to produce enhanced E.Pandora on the same level as the regular. Draw back being that it's short term, basically the girl would gain amazing powers, but would die shortly afterward. Top brass don't see a problem with this, as Pandora would be dying in battle regardless, and they want performance, not longevity, saying that if Mark IV succeeds they have the entire planet to draw reserves from.
Basically, for normal Pandora, they find a suitable person, then implant the stigmas into them. For E. Pandora, they do the same, but use a drug to force a compatibility. Mark IV's success rate is at 35%.
Amelia is worried since Mark IV is a reworked Mark III, and Mark III was canceled because it nearly killed Amelia. The scientist chick aborted the procedure back then, which made Amelia trust her, but due to the pressure put on her by the top brass and her own craziness, the scientist chick really only viewed the E.Pandora as disposable guinea pigs.
Also, the government assigned the 2 strongest of the "numbered" as enforcers at the facility.
We also find out that the E.Pandora subjects are essentially slaves that signed a contract. They either committed crimes, or were sold to the government by their families, or even joined just so they could eat and not go hungry. The contract also makes it clear that their survival is not really a top priority either.
Some talk about recruiting more E.Pandora students had the current E.Pandora excited about being upperclassmen, but Amelia was the one to realize the possibility that these new recruits are essentially their replacements when things go wrong.
Amelia tried to tell the others that Mark IV should work, since she trust the doctor. Of course, two other E.Pandoras doesn't buy it and decide to volunteer over Amelia, saying that Amelia essentially died once and it's their turn to take the risk, since they know Amelia wasn't telling the truth. Chapter 58 ends with the E.Pandora's life signs dropping and the scientist chick insist on increase dosage (nice rapeface btw)
These are more standalone so I'll post them separating. The scientist chick wanted to clone Maria Lancelot to gain complete control of everything about her. I'm not sure if I'm reading it right, but the DNA for nova and humans are similar (Evangelion much?), so it should be doable. Professor Aoi (her superior back then) argued against playing god and fired her over the issue.
Prof. Aoi's view is that Maria was a gift from God that allowed them to struggle on. There's some stuff about bringing about the "eternity" of humanity through completely control of Maria, and prof. Aoi just think it's a fool's dream, since this line of thinking will eventually resulting in crossing a line that shouldn't ever be crossed.
But scientist chick thinks otherwise, and this is her motivation for the E. Pandora project. I suppose those girls in water tanks are clones of Maria from earlier chapters.
So great, wondering if some black ops screw up was what created the Novas in the first place -_-

Chinese scans not out, but it's an easy enough chapter to read regardless. Obviously things go south, and the E.Pandora go Nova and go on a rampage.

Genessa survives! Cassie survives! Satellizer gets a grip on herself! Chiffon and Tish totally obliterated their opponent without a scratch on them. It looks like the two of them and Elizabeth are the only ones who can make that claim. I was kind of hoping to see what Chiffon could manage, as the undisputed #1 ranked fighter in the school.
