Haha, well a lot of the figures that are half naked almost look like the rest, the thing that really makes them stand apart is their "default" clothing that you saw them wear in the Animes.

Has anyone ever used SAL Small Packet Registered at AmiAmi before?

I'm waiting on a figure that was posted on the 25th, it flew out on the 26th, but since then tracking has stopped, even through I understood it to be slower (3-6 weeks) I didn't think it was really that long. :P

Yeah and never again.

I had two figures ship from AmiAmi a day apart, one with SAL and the other with EMS. I had the EMS figure within four days which to rural Victoria is amazing. I can barely get stuff from Sydney that bloody quick!

The SAL parcel took a further three weeks to arrive. I'd rather pay another $6-7 and get the parcel quicker than worrying something has gone wrong.

Ah I don't really mind the time, but with EMS shipping to the UK, it gets into Customs and they charge you extra, last time it was £40 and the first time it was £30, screw that.

There's no custom charges here as long as the item is under a thousand dollars in declared value.

My Sora no Otoshimono - Nymph - 1/6 (PLUM) arrived this morning from AmiAmi!



I guess tracking stops in the UK at the Airport, because it stopped at the Airport in the UK and nothing else, normally it shows when it's at the Depot and when it's loaded and everything, but I guess with small registered SAL doesn't do that, anyway, am happy with the service, the box came with no dents or problems and it arrived in about a week and no customs!

So again, here are some photos I took with my little camera phone, sorry large photos again, but if you have firefox or some zoom function, just zoom out, one day I will change the size!

I really like the figure, I think it's one of my favorites now, the colours and paint job is great and the pose I like, I was unsure at first when the other version of Nymph came out with her sitting, but now I have it in my hands, I made the right choice.

She comes with a change of arms, her shoulder pads attach to these and her cape goes under the shoulder pads, her head and dog coller comes off.

Her joints are really hard to disconnect and connect, it took some effort to take her apart and her feet are not all the way into her base yet, but shes standing ok.

One thing am unhappy about is her Caddy Apple can't be removed from her other arm, am sure it can, but I was pulling and pulling, twisting it a little and only the top part was bending/moving, the part inside her hand is stuck good. I don't want to risk breaking it in half, I guess there is no chance in writing to PLUM or AmiAmi for that "part" only?
