ep.4 wow really ice cream finding a win to whole watermelon.

oh yea ninja really more why to watch really even throw a cellphone-shuriken but boomerang works too.

& oh 3 Yasuna ok then wonder what next & can we give the high laid back ninja her own spin-off series?

Agiri is pretty awesome, my favorite character. That long hair and laid back attitude, you know she smokes a ton with all her ninja friends.

Sonya doing a King of Fighters Shen charged fist through the Yasuna imposter's was awesome, favorite part of the episode.

Didn't like episode 4 as much as the other episodes.
Best part was the ninja girl throwing her cellphone and being down that it broke. And the little screenwipes of her getting a new cellphone.

I miss the part where Yasuna does her greeting in a different language.

Agiri just cracks me up every time. "I can throw things other than shuriken" was a classic.

Favorite episode yet, I have already read the first two volumes of the manga, so I have a question for the ones who have read more on it, was the 3 yasunas joke in the later volumes of the manga or is it an anime original joke.

The funny thing about most of the critiques is that I love this format of continuous jokes without build up, i remember a comedian pointing out differencies between audiences; he mentioned that with usa audiences you have you tell them when they are supossed to laugh and they will laugh (see the big bang theory / average usa comedy show and it's laugh tracks) while with latin audicences (latin america, france, spain, etc...) you ahve to make them laugh by your jokes alone and they get offended if you tell them when to laugh.

Amusing. Not exeptionally funny (I found Nichijou much funnier), but passible.

The ninja cracks me up about half the time, the others not as often.

From what I read so far, it seems to be original, but it might be from a very recent chapter that's not translated yet, so I don't really know. Heck, up till now, the unused character has been used more than in the manga (that whole bit about her chasing Sonya and eventually running away crying? So far, that doesn't seem to be in the manga).

What I have noticed that is JC Staff takes bits and pieces of each individual chapter and cuts a lot of (good) jokes, or add their own twist to them (like adding the girls getting an afro after the bomb explodes in episode 1).

I keep having to remind myself....J.C. Staff....not KyoAni. If one wants an adaptation uses pretty much every joke (and makes it pretty) you use KyoAni. Otherwise anyone will do. It isn't to Minami-ke levels of funny though, neither is it up to Nichijou levels of funny.

Well, it's no Azumanga Daioh, either, that's for sure (though I don't know how well that was adapted back then).

Doesn't mean Kill Me Baby is bad, though. Far from it. It's just that the jokes might have made more of an impact had JC Staff played them perfectly straight, rather than chop them up and add their own twists to them.

And IMO, it doesn't take much to be funnier than Nichijou, as I found that show quite boring when I first watched it, compared to what I expected of it. At least this show manages to amuse me far more.

Aww that was just harsh of Sonya

Cutting that dolls head of that Yasuna wanted to badly

It was necessary though, Yasuna has an addiction to gambling and Sonya had to stop it!

I can't get enough of Agiri! I want to learn more of her awesome techniques! That "The Subsitution was actually the real one" jutsu was just amazing!

Hehe, poor Yasuna, getting her mask stolen off her by some children

And I don't know about anyone was, but when Sonya was licking that apple

The whole puppet scene was the best part in this episode

Sonya was the one who made that possiblr XD

This is probably the only anime I am going to be following this season :/
Mainly due to having read the manga before hand...

As for the series itself, it is OK, but does not feel like it is special. Comedy series are my favorite genre, but this is one of these series you watch on TV and that is it. Not saying it is bad, but I doubt it will sell truck loads of DVD/Bluray.

And failing at every single one. The bug catching segment was doomed before it started, but the amount of preparation Agiri must have had to go through for that gag is something else. As for the festival, the doll experienced the same fate as the late Pyonsuke. With Sonya, anything is a weapon. The most standout part of the second half was easily the puppets. If Sonya and Yasuna were to be replaced with Yasuna's puppet show for a while, I wouldn't mind. Yasunya and Sonyagator were a nice twist, too. If anyone ever wanted to know what the main girls' animal motifs were, there you go. I wonder what Agiri's motif would've been. Sonya and Yasuna's voice actors are putting in a good performance, but the show would lose a lot of its charm if not for Satomi Arai and Cho. By providing the voices of everyone else who's not the Unused Character, the world simultaneously feels fuller and yet even more self contained. It helps that the both of them are known for some crazy voice acting.
