Speaking of suffering, I only torture one of my own characters except when I like them and it will help them grow. (Unless they really truely deserve it.) |

How can you not have fun with this story, much less too much fun? The Author will lead us where he wants and in his own time. I always think EVERYONE has a great story in em'. We just don't always get to tell them. |

Only three manga have ever induced me to write. To do so they must have vibrant characters, unique settings, and a storyline which draws you into their world. The first was of course Naruto, a world of endless conflict peopled with dozens of unique individuals each of whom cried out to have their backstories told and their futures expanded. Unfortunately about six months ago I drifted away from the anime and now read the manga only as my interest waned.
Second was Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori (Red River, Anatolia Story). A time travel story with the unique setting in the Hittite Empire. Beautifully drawn with a lovely, plucky heroine whom the whole orient seemingly falls in love with. The only weakness is the story begins to become repetitive in the later chapters. And then there is Umi no Misaki. Exceptional scenery (both natural and human), a harem which breaks all the usual tropes, a MC who is anything but the usual loser, and a storyline which is continually surprising. Some readers think first girl wins would ruin the series, but it is so skillfully written that any outcome is equally likely. So that is what it takes to inspire me. Has any manga ever forced you to begin typing against your will? |

To be fair, choosing one is like a custom or tradition on the Island. Nagi hasn't been following tradition of the Dragon God since here arrived, my guess a harem ending because of that. I wonder, have there every been a series that had a harem ending?

Of the top of my head, non-hentai would be Tenchi Muyo (and I think it was only confirmed in supplementary materials) and Yomerio Choice (which is a fanservice gag-manga).

Not likely. That's Karin he's squeezing right now.

1.) She's not a shrine maiden. The Dragon God can only "grant favor" to the shrine maidens. 2.) She's underage. As for the teacher, she's not actually IN the harem. She's not interested in Nagi (or the girls) per se. She's just wildly voyeuristic about the Dragon God custom and tradition. The annoying lesbo girl isn't after Nagi either, she just wants Soyogi so badly that she's willing to put up with Nagi to get at her. |

Watch he bones each girl and that throws a wrench into things.
The Grandma will say something like "You were supposed to wait until the festival and have sex with the one you choose. Why do you think it's called the Rising Dragon Festival?"

"Why haven't you granted the girls any favor yet?" Nagi spits out his drink. Rinnie waves her hand and shakes her head in a "don't answer that" manner. |
