The official website for Hobby Japan and Orchid Seed's The 7 Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) multimedia project announced on Wednesday that an anime adaptation has been green-lit. The first arc will have two episodes.

Synopsis(sort of):

The project revolves around seven beautiful female demons who embody the seven sins.

I've seen the figurines around, but what exactly is this about other than the seven deadly sins Demon as erotic girls? Or are they going to pull a story out of thin air =_= ?

I'll give it a try as well. I can't expect much in regards of story other than expecting a abnormal amount of fanservice given the director, but that doesn't mean it lacks story. In fact I can also foresee some mysterious plot hints as well.

Actually there is a manga with the same name o_o.

Still, those designs are quite good, judging by the studio I wonder if this will have comedy.

Yeah, the manga is unrelated, and it's supposed to be an original story.

If you're interested in the chars, we just opened a wiki (kinda barebones for now), to shed more light on what's currently known about them, feel free to visit sometime.

Yes, an original story, and as I love Queen's Blade I hope this anime will be similar "Echi / Yuri"

in the manga, the hero is a boy with a girl to save a kingdom with the help of seven man demon ,in this anime adaptation hero is a girl who asks seven demon woman to take control of a kingdom.

a parallel story

So the anime will be an original story, but I wonder what is the boy and the girl of manga would appear in the anime...? I hope no for the boy

There's a manga out there with the exact same name, but it is a completely different thing and unrelated at all to this.

It just has the same name.

Is made in the same as in the manga "a girl who asks for help to catch the 7 demon capital" for the anime but I saw a recap:

Nanatsu no Taizai includes seven female demons who embody the seven deadly sins.

that is I supose its a girl would heroin but I probably wrong and that girl meet in the manga as a boy in a tavern, but the anime is different from manga. .. in any case strongly more information and a "real" summarize...

But I have a question that is only the provisional summary which suggests that the hero is a girl in the anime but when I read the summary of the anime and manga, it is ok like the history of anime that seem to be a "different" but this is quite similar so I wonder if the girl would be made in not the same princess manga so if it will not meet the boy in the tavern? and so the only difference would be that the 7 demons that would help to look beautiful demon sexy .............. According to the official website there is a summary is that someone could translate? :S

I think you are misunderstanding something here.
This anime is anime original meaning it's not based on any manga/LN or game.
The manga that is mentioned in here has nothing to do with this expect have the same name.
The manga is done by Suzuki Nakaba who was behind Kongou Banchou and his art, while good, it's alot different from what you see here.

Well can count me in, lovely demon girls looking all sexy demon girl like, I can't say no too

Altho not sure what I'm looking more forward to this or Queen's Blade Grimoire.
