Maybe that's the girl on the cover (although she looks to young for a 15-16 year old).
And also after Rentaro is forced into running and multiple strong foes are after him instead of just one because you know, the author just likes screwing with Rentaro.

“I feel that the topic we’re going to talk about is something you don’t want Rentaro to hear.”
Sumire leaned back and as a result the chair she’s sitting on creaked.
“Enju-chan, simply put, did you ever have a chilling, tingling feeling whenever you’re battling with another initiator or even when you’re walking down the street.
“Nope.”
Enju felt suspicious at the question but still shook her head and replied honestly.
“Then let’s change topic. Enju-chan you’re a speed based initiator, your speeds always growing rapidly. Were you ever bothered recently when your speed suddenly stopped growing?”
Enju looked extremely surprised, and leaned forward.
“Does Sumire know something?”
“Sure enough, you also entered “growth limit point”.”
Growth limit point, upon hearing that Enju felt a chill down her spine.
Sumire took out a folder and begin questioning Enju.
“Enju-chan using your own words describe your condition to me.”
“Ok, beforeＩdidn’t care much, but the more I used my power the more my speed increased, however recently it wasn’t like this. How to say this-.”
Looking at Enju who could not think of an accurate analogy Sumire inputted in.
“-It’s like meeting an invisible wall.”
“Yes! It’s exactly like meeting an invisible wall. No matter how much I practice my speed won’t increase.”
“I see it’s exactly like the reports say.”
Sumire casually threw the reports she was holding onto her desk.
“Sumire, what exactly is this?”

“Sumire, I beg you, tell me what [field] is, does it have something to do with me becoming strong?”
Sumire looked a bit hesitant.
“Sumire, I want to become strong no matter what.”
Perhaps impressed with her determination Sumire swore, “Damn” and set down again.
“Enju-chan to answer your original question, there’s a way to surpass the growth limit point and that way is [field].
Enju waited with anticipation at Sumire’s next words.
“Enju-chan the wall you are currently feeling is also a representation of the pain you will have to go through to get pass “growth limit point”. To make it easier to understand imagine jumping a bar. At the start even if you do dozens of exercises you still can’t jump over that bar. But one day, when you get over that bar you won’t be able to get back. Reportedly you’ll feel a sharp pain the instance you meet with a [field] user (by “you” I would assume Sumire means initiators), so the instance your intuition tells you, you met a [field] user don’t interact with that person. In the past the initiator you fought, Kohina, is certainly powerful but the fact that you beat her indicates that she haven’t reached [field] yet. Because if the opposition is someone that arrived there’s no way you would’ve gotten back.
“If I can’t avoid fighting with a [field] user what should I do?”
“Run away, take Satomi-san and run as far away as possible.”
“There’s no other way?”
“No. Although it’s a different story if Enju-chan also reaches [field].”
Even Enju can’t help but feel despair at this. Suddenly the saying that the ultra high rankings combinations can unbalance the military had a lot more truth to it.
Sumire gazed at Enju with a touch of sympathy.
“In the future Satomi-san and Kisara probably will grow strong, stronger then me.”
“Stronger than me?”
Enju felt it was a joke so she laughed but upon noticing Sumire’s serious she put some thought into it.
During their fight with Kagetone/Kohina combo Enju noticed that Rentaro had some weaknesses.
By releasing the bullets in his prosthetics which causes immense propulsion combined with his own innate combat skills gives birth to astonishing offensive capabilities. On the other hand the probability of missing, especially against a fast foe is also great.
In fact during his brief fight with Kohina Rentaro first used his eye to read the enemies movements before counterattacking in order to minimize the risk of missing.
However against a speedy initiator like Enju making Rentaro hit blank air would be really simple.
Kisara was more difficult for Enju to grasp as she never seen Kisara fight before. She heard from Rentaro that she’s “strong beyond words” but considering that it’s in human terms Enju should still be superior.
Enju found it hard to grasp that those two would surpass her in the future.
“Enju-chan, you know the story about the rabbit and tortoise? It’s the story of how the rabbit slept during the middle of their race and as a result lost to the tortoise. Enju-chan do you know why the rabbit lost?”
“Because he let then his guard.”
“Wrong.”
“It’s wrong?”
“The answer lies in what the goals of the turtle and the rabbit are. The rabbit’s goal is to get past the turtle so it let its guard down once it surpassed the turtle. The turtle on the other hand made getting to the end its goal so it didn’t relax the whole way. It’s precisely because of the difference in the goals between the two that decided victory or defeat. Enju-chan you are the rabbit. I’m not kidding around with you; your narrow view will one day let you taste decisive defeat.”
Enju desperately shook her head and shouted in anger.
“Even if that’s the case it’s still far away. It’s too early to decide those things!”
However upon realizing her words she felt surprised to the core. Why did she raise her voice? Even she herself didn’t now.
Sumire walked over and put her hand on Enju’s shoulders.
“Enju-chan, do even know what it means to enter the [field]. If you ask for my personal opinion I would loudly object to you doing such a thing. Why don’t you ask Rentaro, I’m sure he’ll tell you the same thing.”
Enju vaguely understood why they would object to that. It’s highly likely that upon entering the [field] the gastrea erosion rate would quickly increase.
Given that her own erosion rate is at 24.9% (from her perspective) it might get a bit dangerous if it increase more. But as long as she sparingly used her power it should be fine. She didn’t see why they should object so strongly.
Seeing that she couldn’t destroy Enju’s determination, Sumire regretfully shook her head and muttered, “Let’s call it a day”, and aborted this topic.
“It’ll be fine as long as Enju-chan uses all her heart to complete the current commission. This topic can wait till the current commission is over.”
Sumire didn’t want to talk about this topic and waved her arms as a sign of dismissal to Enju.
“Enju-chan, speaking of which how’s the Seitenshi escort going?”
Enju didn’t now how much she should say so she told Sumire everything.
After hearing that Sumire made a difficult face.
“This………. is very bad.”
“Huh? Why?”
“The other side can predict Seitenshi’s escort route, from that one can infer that the enemy’s info gathering capabilities are quite amazing. The enemy probably already knows about Tendo Security Company’s participation in guarding Seitenshi. But again, I would assume that he'll gain something in the near future given the overwhelming forshadowing that he has some other special trait besides his prothetics.
And also he has to get some kind of power up.
The foes he's facing are already giving him more then just a hard time and he's just barely pulling through.
Unless the author decides to focus more on Enju fighting and leave Rentaro for supporting roles Rentaro has to get some kind of power up in the future.

“Master can I have intelligence on Tendo Company?”
“What do you want to know?”
“Master, although I’m not really clear on the situation in Tokyo, but the name Tendo is probably related to Seitenshi’s primary aide Kikunojyo Tendo. Is there a relationship between the two?”
“The president of Tendo Company is the granddaughter of Tendo Kikunojyo. But right now she’s estranged from Tendo Clan; she alone is managing Tendo Company. Heh, her history is pretty interesting-”
Tina sensed that she was attracting attention and noticed an old women staring at her hand which was holding a box.
The box which is meant to hold large guns like an anti tank rifle, is making her hand tremble from sheer weight even when she’s liberated, so it’s natural that she would attract attention with it.
“-Before she became president in her younger days her parents were killed by gastrea who broke into the Tendo mansion, she herself lost kidney function.”
“Kidney?”
“Yep, and this case has a high probability of being a premeditated murder, the perpetrator is likely a member of the Tendo family. Possessed by the idea of revenge, Kisara Tendo frantically tempered her sword skills, and then run away from Tendo. Even now she’s still lurking and waiting for an opportunity to send the Tendo family into bloodbath.”
“She’s…..”

“I don’t know if their aiming for a small elite group or if they simply lack money but Tendo Company only has one pair. Before the one’s that hindered our duty is them.”

Tina didn’t know why but she’s suddenly agitated.
“Initiator’s name is Enju Aihara, Promoter is called-.”
At that time a nearby truck let out a loud sound from the engine which prevented Tina from hearing the promoter’s name.
“I’m sorry master, what did you just say?”
“-I said how long do you intend to stand there? Please move”
Looking back, the same old women that had noticed her language is also storing at her with an annoyed expression. The light had turned green and pedestrians were all moving.
Tina hurriedly bowed in apology and moved down the street forgetting her previous question in the process. From there she moved from alley to alley and with the instruction of her master got to her destination.
It was a small 4 storey, dirty looking building. This is building is called the “Happy Building” (sarcastically of course). The businesses in order from the first floor to the last in this building are, “Sperrgebiet”, “ma chérie”, “Tendo Civil Security Company”, and “Light Winds Finance”. With the expectation of Tendo Civil Security Company none of them can be considered reputable businesses (and even Tendo Civil Security Company is debatable).
Tina glanced around and noted that the place wasn’t suitable for sniping. She can only attack from upfront which had already been taken into account by her master beforehand hence why she brought such a huge bag.
Tina reached inside her bag and took out a giant barrel machine gun. It’s a battery powered M134 which is capable of consistently shooting high powered bullets from its six barrels.
Tina mused to herself that once she’s finished with this assassination she’ll apply for leave from her master to stay in Tokyo for a little longer.
Although Tina knew her master would strongly oppose she didn’t want to leave without having more interaction with “him”.
Tina put her hand on her chest.
It’s unbelievable that despite the fact that she only met with him 4 times but she felt that she can do anything as long as it was for him.
The heart which only knew killing can beat like this for him.
The heart is very warm, she felt an omnipotent feeling.
Tina closed her eyes, took a deep breath and spit it out.
(The irony here in case anyone missed it is that Tina’s having a doki doki moment for Rentaro before she’s attempting to kill the one Rentaro has doki doki feelings for.)
“Master is there a chance that I’ll lose to Kisara?”
The other end of the phone let out a derisive laughter.
“Impossible, impossible I say. I calculated that the chances of you losing to Kisara are less then 1%. According to reports Kisara is alone in the firm. Be sure to kill her.”
“Understand master. I’ll be cutting off communications now.”
Tina walked up the first and second floor and as she approached the third floor she lowered the sound of her footsteps.
Tina got to the door with “Tina Civil Security Company” and opened it. Inside there’s a huge business table, with Kisara writing some documents with great anger. Perhaps it’s because of breathing, she realized that someone just came in and she twisted her face to the side and formed a sullen expression as if to say “I am still anger”. It seems that she didn’t bother to check who entered and mistaken Tina for someone else.
“Are you Kisara Tendo.”
“Eh?”
Kisara finally looked up with a surprised expression. At the same time Tina planted her feet firmly on the ground to prevent recoil from her gun.
“Prepare yourself”.
In an instant the barrel spun in sonic speeds and bullets shot out like rain. Kisara had with remarkable reflexes ducked under the table as the Tina pulled the trigger. Still the bullets tore through everything that the barrel pointed at. When Tina was done, the room looked like a torpedo hit it.
Tina assumed that Kisara didn’t even realize her own death and walked forward to check on her body.
At that instance Kisara as if waiting for this moment for a eternity rushed out with one hand on the hilt of her sword and one hand on the scabbard of her sword. Her sharp cold eyes nearly hidden by her messy hair looked like a demon’s.
Tina suddenly recalled her master’s words.
“Possessed by the idea of revenge, Kisara Tendo frantically tempered her sword skills”
Tina felt a chill down her spine and arched her body by reflex. Something flied by her with ultra high speeds.
Tina had timely avoided it but a handful of her gold hair and the barrel of her gun got sliced diagonally. The entire building vibrated as if a cannon had hit the building, and the entire wall behind Tina split similar to tearing cloth. The unreal scene left Tina speechless.
What exactly was the range of that slash?
Well it’s extremely easy to deny that something as simple as a slash can cause so much, the fact of the matter is when the sword flashed, the wall, Tina’s hair, and even the barrel made up of pure steel got cut apart like knife through butter.
Tina felt a chill down her spine, in her heart she felt more then a little dissatisfied with the 1% her master evaluated as Kisara’s chances of winning. This wasn’t a joke. There was no doubt that her strength had reached the pinnacle of humanity.
However-
Tina quickly did two jumps from wall to wall and reached the ceiling, and using pure foot power begin running on the ceiling before Kisara can react.
Kisara looked shocked at Tina’s display of speed but quickly recovered and sliced up at the ceiling two times. However both missed, they were both to slow.
Tina had run directly on top of Kisara’s position and kicked of like a bullet from there.
Kisara jumped back but Tina expected that and used her 20 kilogram gun combined with her strength gained by being an initiator to smash down on the wooden floor.
Even the cement underneath the floor capable of withstanding 24000 Newton’s of force got easily smashed and all the broken fragments scattered to Kisara’s general direction.
To Kisara it was no different from being hit with a shotgun. The fragments assaulted Kisara who raised her hands to protect her vitals. Despite that the force behind the many projectiles caused her to be smashed along the wall.
Tina not missing the chance rammed her with her full speed. The wall groaned and heaved in reaction and Kisara let out a painful moan at the blow.
Anyways finally time for volume 2 chapter 2 part 4 (1/2).
