So at least the voice activation do genuinely use "the power of the cloud". It seems Microsoft doesn't want to dedicate hardware space to storing all the possible languages and combinations in the console, and instead make it internet based. That actually explains a lot. I mean, in theory to do voice control completely offline must be taxing. Kinect is vital to Xb1 -> It's main feature is voice commands -> Main feature doesn't really work unless connected to the internet -> The console needs to be connected to the internet to work. I am starting yo get it. All the insane requirements of XB1 are all caused by Kinect. And all the bad press are all connected to Kinect. If only MS explained all this better. I mean, at least now we know why it was suppose to be "always online".

No doubt it will sell. Though not as much as it would if Xbox 1 was a competent gaming system. What I meant to say, with this level of Information, Halo will not be convincing many buyers of the PS4 faction to switch or buy an Xbox 1.

We can thank Microsoft's vigorous anti-gamer consumer/pro "casual" gamer ad-campaign for that. On the bright side we have the luxury of knowing what new flavors the MacCafe` will be releasing while we play Halo 4 and Titanfall

Update 1: MS has removed the web page concerning the voice activation issues.
Update 2: The Neogaf MS employee has admitted that the language setting is region-locked; which is insane. Put it this way; if you are an Australian who is an Italian immigrant, you set your country setting to Australia. This allows you to access regional content. The kicker? You would NOT have Italian as a selectable language for Xbox1! The console actually restricts your language setting by country! This is insane, there is no reason why the console should BLOCK you from using a certain language, just because of the country you set it in. The MS employee claim that over time through patches, there would be broader language options for every nation. But that shouldn't have happened at all; why should the selectable language be region-blocked?
