I have to disagree. I watched it in the anime first, and while it certainly felt powerful, it did not get to me and leave me feeling wrung-out and emotionally exhausted afterwards the way this did. I don't want to praise someone for inflicting suffering and despair on her, but the condition she was in here when Riki managed to reach out to her was clearly far far worse, and far more heartrending, than how it happened in the anime.

Well, I'm back to this after having to take a break after Kud's route (that left me so emtoinally exhausted I couldn't keep playing right away). I feel I have to comment on something everyone else already knows (well, everything I'm saying almost everyone else already knows, but... anyway). This time playing was the first time I really paid close attention to the lyrics of the OP when it played, and just... wow. That thing is so full of meaning once you know the secret of the world it is unbelievable.

Thanks, that's informative. I had to listen to them several times since my Japanese is rusty as hell, so I may be missing clue sections, but is it just me or is it never made explicit that she made it to the dream world? Just she vowing that she'd make anything for her sister.

As for your question,we probably will never get a real answer(unless the EX anime explain it) so we should just treat it as another miracle from Key magic |

Kurugaya's route feels very depressing. It doesn't have the raw emotional impact that Haruka's route and Kud's route had on me, but it also doesn't have any sort of happy ending. That is perhaps the saddest thing: the world itself literally won't let her be happy.
I have to wonder why. The world could handle Riki falling in love with all the other girls, but not Kurugaya? Sure, everyone resets after a time, once their regrets are overcome, but they all got to experience love and happiness first. Yet the instant these two start to fall in love time starts slipping and things go all to pieces?

Now that the Anime is over, I feel like sharing my recent Little Busters VN reflection! http://kakeracomplex.wordpress.com/2...-a-reflection/

Well, after being long distracted, I've gotten back and finished Mio's route. I... don't really have all that much to say about it. Not because there's anything wrong with it, but because out of all the ones I've played, it felt the most like its anime version. I did tear up somewhat near the end.
Anyway. Enough of me being softhearted. That's every route through once. Next is Rin's second playthrough, which I suspect is really going to get to me. While I know generally what happens, I didn't watch past Kud's route in the anime, so I expect the stuff from here forward to have a more significant impact on me.

It looks like Little Busters is trying for an official English release via Steam Greenlight.

I have no idea. Maybe they want to see how many people are interested first? Or maybe something changed in the way Valve allows stuff on steam (given that Harmonia and Tomoyo After were already published by them without greenlight). I don't know but was also very curious to know why they took this route.
