Btw, yeah, I kinda wanna see Ryou vs Souma and Joichiro as the judge too. It'll make Erina know about Souma being Joichiro's son and possibly making her appearance in the manga higher.

As smug as Hayama is, it's much more tolerable than Kurokiba with his whole "Getting along is for wimps!" shtick.

As for the judges, I think Souma's dad will make an apperance and he will not vote for his son in the finals due some cooking reason.

But I'm probaby wrong and Ryou will lose and Souma's dad won't show up.^^

Good idea, and yeah, i wanna see kurokiba in a showdown against souma too, a battle between the bandanas chefs would be awesome for a final, but i dont know why i get the feeling that it would end being against nose of god.

If Joichiro becomes a judge for the final, then there is a huge chance that Erina finds out that he is the father of souma, so count with me in that possibility.

For the other judges i guess it could be some celebrities like the sisters of the preliminary, or some chefs from the 69 and 70 generation.

I don't mind if the final judge is Jouichirou (Souma's dad), Senzaemon (the school director),Fumio (the dorm mother), Erina and Gin..

I still somehow think Hayama might win instead, plus it would interesting to see how Erina blush when sitting near to Jouichirou, and shocked to learn he is Souma's dad.

Just imagine the face of the whole school's students teachers .. that would be epic =w=

I wanted a draw between Hayama and Kurokiba.
Then there would be a 3-way battle between Souma, Hayama, and Kurokiba for the finals. Both of the characters are someone I want to see battling it out with Souma after all.

Chap 90 was nice, not to many thing about the dishes of the semi final, but i get the feeling that if god nose keeps that cocky behavior, the underdog will raise as the winner.
Really like the interaction(although it wasn't too much) of the nakiris and souma.

It's more about Soma about making Erina say '"It's Good" with that mouth of hers' (Chapter 4).

Of course, hopefully, she acknowledges to herself (hopefully not with much angst or drama) that she nearly costed Soma the opportunity at school and gets fairer (though not in unrealistic manner) in her disposition. From what Soma said earlier (again Chapter 4 reference), I do think there is a nice scope for development of feelings for each other from both of them.

And I prefer any romance that develops between Soma and Erina comes out because one or both develops attraction to another rather than oft mentioned Erina finding out who Soma's dad is and then developing some attraction (directly or indirectly) based on that. In fact, I prefer Erina comes to know about Soma's dad (e.g.., Soma talks about his family) after she and Soma started getting some feelings for each other (if this is a pairing route that mangaka duo takes on) to avoid latter scenario.

I also prefer that Soma doesn't remain unrealistically too oblivious to romantic signals for too long from the girls around him that is understandably generated and cultivated by his swag. It remains one of annoying shonen traits and I hope this series kindah buck that.
