From what I read, RUN has been saying he's busy with work and would get to his duties when he can. Earlier today (in Japan time) he said he intends to release all the backed up results together at once and he *might* be able to do it tonight (currently it's about 11:30 PM in Japan). So... results for FL6 and FL7 are still unofficial, and we should get the official results "soon". Maybe very soon. |

They have not even posted the unofficial vote counts of FL8 in the admin thread yet, so here is the results from my tracker:
FL8 1st 238 AKEMI Homura @ Madoka Magica Movie: Rebellion Story 2nd 130 MIKI Sayaka @ Madoka Magica Movie: Rebellion Story 3rd 20 YUIGAHAMA Yui @ Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru 4th 14 TSUJIGAITO Satoha @ Saki Zenkoku-hen Even before vote deletion I think it's safe to say the 2 magical girls made it despite the split.

It appears the schedule has changed, according to RUN.

RUN is starting to remind me of a certain character or two from Shirobako. He also needs to learn to box above his comfort zone of 200 to 300 voters for an average win total and not try to box in the tournament to an ever smaller circle of folks voting.
Actually it is getting pretty easy to 'sus' "RUN'' out here as he seems to be a lazy paranoid soul who is fearing ANY outsiders 'touching' his 'precious', and has a strand of almost camp spitefulness to boot with the playing of favourites during the tournaments run and fits of pique when things don't go to script or go right.

2nd preliminaries was changed to a format that was heavily biased against Saki and prevent them from getting characters into the main tournament even if they were stronger than some that did advance.
Playoff round was introduced that creating late game split vote opportunities putting Saki at an handicap since their series is the one most likely to have a lot of remaining characters at this stage. The final vote adjustments actually raised Alice's vote total to knock out a Saki character. For a supposedly pro-Saki Tournament organizer, they've enacted a few things that aren't exactly favourable to Saki.

That's grasping for straws. I don't know by which criteria RUN is deleting votes (and I'm fairly certain only RUN himself knows them) but aside from the one time misstep with Alice the beneficiaries were always from Saki. RUN should just call his favourite character from that series and make her the winner.

2010 is the last JSaimoe that was somewhat entertaining but it already died when they banned foreign votes. |

For me,Saimoe is truly ruin when the mod 'subjectively' remove votes which open the possibilities of rigged vote and this all started during last year Saimoe. Corruption, rigged votes, that's what really destroy a tournament. Everything become scripted. Did the mod 'subjectively' remove votes again this year? Either way, don't have high expectation for this year tournament anyway. Last edited by Archaeon; 2014-11-10 at 08:28. |
