Having a Drum Canister increases the amount of resources you get from a resource node. Is that cumulative, the more you have equipped in you fleet the more resources you get or having one or more have the same effect?

E-1 cleared but the farm continues. I don't have the ships to go and do E-2 but that's fine, the ships I want to drop can drop from E-1, it's just I'm not having much luck and I'm dangerously low on fuel (40 now). I guess I should just keep sending the sixth off to expedition 5 and leave the natural regeneration to kick in for a while.

For some reason, I just can't manage the last kill on E-3... any recommendations?
All ships are 4* or higher, Current setup: Fleet 1: L59 Haruna Kai (41cmx2, 15.5cm secondary, type 0) L45 Kongou Kai (41cmx2, 15.5cm secondary, type 0) L55 Akagi Kai (Dive bomber in slot 1, Fighters in 2 and 3, torpedo in 4) L56 Kaga Kai (Dive bomber in slot 1, Fighters in 2 and 3, torpedo in 4) L30 Haguro Kai (15.5cm x2, 15.5cm secondary, type 0) L29 Takao Kai (15.5cm x2, 15.5cm secondary, type 0) Fleet 2: L40 Ooyodo Kai (20.3cm, 15.5cm main, type 0, 15.5cm secondary) L35 Tone Kai (20.3cm x2, 15.5cm secondary, type 0) L55 Yuudachi Kai Ni (12.7cm Twin Mount Type-B Kai 2, 10cm high angle, quad oxygen torpedo) L31 Yukikaze Kai, (10cm high angle x2, quad oxygen torpedo) L38 Fubuki kai (10cm high angle x2, quad oxygen torpedo) L36 Hibiki kai (10cm high angle x2, quad oxygen torpedo) Boss support: Junyou Kai, Hiyou Kai, Mutsu Kai, Kirishima Kai, Ushio Kai, and Akatsuki (not Kai), with as many big guns/dive bombers as I can stick on them. I can consistently knock the Light Cruiser Demon down to ~20hp, but I've just made my fifth attempt at finishing her off, and it's just not happening. The biggest problem seems to be that everyone keeps missing. |

Don't put 15.5cm on the BB. Instead, put either a radar or an AP shell.
Swap Akagi and Kaga diver bomber and torpedo bomber. While Red planes are fine on a low plane count slot, the same cannot be said for torpedo bombers because they are shot down more often than dive bombers. Do not give 15.5cm to Haguro and Takao. Instead, give them 2x 20.3cm and either a radar or sanshikidan. CA have accuracy bonus with 20.3cm cannons, even the vanilla ones. The same can be said for Tone in your second fleet. Do not give any torpedo to Yuudachi, otherwise it will switch her into a mixed cut-in attack setup, which isn't really any good considering her luck stats. The same can be said for Fubuki and Hibiki. Instead of the torpedo, put either a radar or a boiler. On the other hand, you should rather put two torpedo on Yukukaze. If you have either Ooi or Kitakami kai, put one of them instead of Tone in the second fleet. Any non lucky DD with torpedoes arguably deal less damage at night compared to the double attack setup, because regular torpedo attack at night really sucks.

No, for Kitakami, give her a Type A Ko hyoteki and 2 15.5cm yellow cannons. If you modernized her properly (both her firepower and torpedo maxed), you will have some funny results for night battles.

So far my composition for E-4 farming has been pretty neat. Also use of sparkled boss support fleet is recommended. I have seen more results from a sparkled boss support fleet than a non-sparkled one.
Currently using CAV/FBB/DD/DD/CLT/CV to farm E-4 Boss node but the problem with this is that I cannot farm node I nor J where I want Yahagi |

First Fleet:It might be my own suspicions, but the most attacked ships on your fleet are most likely the third and fourth ship, followed by the fifth and sixth. Placing your carriers nearer to the flagship position might help. Second Fleet: Place your luckiest ships at the end of the row. Having a torpedo cut-in from Yukikaze to take down an enemy ship is sometimes a god send. Raising the Sendai-class sisters are a good idea, since they give night battle-specific equipment, especially the night time observation plane. Once it activates during night battle, it's almost expected for all of your shipgirls to deal critical damage consistently. |
