About the chapter. The fact that this is chapter 1 is a pretty strong indication that it's probably going to be Sarada's misunderstanding.

Well this was an interesting chapter...I think Kishi is trying to emo Sarada too much here, also if Kishi already confirmed that it is Sakura x Sasuke and Sarada is the daughter I'd rather take that, this is just a plot twist to troll over fanatic fans, he probably saw the joke image of Karin Mom, Sasuke Father and Sakura maid.

i saw a post on tumblr and the person was comparing chap 700 to the new chapter and was saying that maybe salad aggerated the point that sasuke hasnt been there since she was a baby...but i dont think that makes any sense since she treasures the picture so much and is very curious about him and his whereabout and sakuras relationship to him

Depending on how far this Uchiha Clan Hospital drama goes on, the most likely outcome is that the movie happens at a later date since the characters are depicted as being genins already.

This mini series is a way to wrap thing up , of course it have to be this dramatic to attract everyone .

From what I'm seeing hinted, Naruto may have over-compensated and gave his kids too much attention. Which is why Bolt seems be (over)reacting the way he is right now, because the moment Naruto became busy with his Hokage responsibilities, it obviously caused a drop-off in their usual time together.

Sakura is the most pathetic female characters I've ever seen. The photo of team taka is there to start the plot, I get that. But did Kishimoto even think for a second about the implications for Sakura's character for not having one picture of her and Sasuke as adults.

I think it is a troll to. Merely a plot point to bring Sasuke back. My guess is that he is away from home all this time because he is trying to stop Orochimaru. He stays away from Sakura and Salada to try to draw Orochimaru's eyes away from the fact that there is another Uchiha that Orochimaru could use to get his hands on the Sharingan. However Salada probing into Karen alerts Orochimaru into her existence making Sasuke have to come back to better protect her possibly as her genin team sensei. It is kind of like what happened to Naruto growing up, They hid the truth of his parents from the village and elsewhere to draw unnecessary eyes away from him growing up.

I actually see Sakura as being stronger than she seems in this chapter. She raised Salada alone. Her light novel shows that she opened up a hospital. Her fainting just shows that she has a lot of stress in her life from having a lot to deal with that it is taking its toll on her health. Sasuke not being around only makes it worse. Basically she has to run the hospital, be a doctor at the hospital, raise Salada alone, and deal with housework. That is a lot for 1 person to deal with.
