It's not like Dark Saber super pwns regular Saber. She only maximizes her strengths and accentuates her weaknesses. Dark Saber gains more mana and endurance at the cost of luck and agility (and her specials get played around with, like her Magic Resistance). Rider vs Dark Saber actually happened in HF, you know, and Rider was able to stall Dark Saber enough for Shirou to sneak an attack in. Alone, she'd probably lose, no doubt, but it's not like she gets insta-pwned like you're implying.

I didn't imply this. And you forget to mention that Rider received some kind of a power boost in HF as well.

Or Saber nearly dodges one of his flying swords...nearly...except it cuts off her antenna. Then she gets PISSED! =P. Regular Saber has her antenna. Dark Saber=no antenna. Don't yank her antenna out!

Sorry, but when you say "Rider wouldn't stand a chance", you're implying a large degree of power disparity.

Rider didn't get a power boost in HF. At best, she got a mana-recharge, if memory serves. (Someone have a citation either way?)

I can understand if they will cut away with the Archer-Shirou's death match, but not to use Shirou's UBW as a redeeming factor for him......

I'll say Fate ending as well.

Either ends with Saber's final moments, or shows a scene of Shirou walking through his UBW.

That could happen, but i don't think as a last fight.. maybe at the same time as Saber & Gil's?

a good plot would be for saber to be fighting gil and on the verge of dying so shirou stepps in and helps her...maybe he traces a weapon? give her mana? i still think best ending would be for shirou to use UBW to smash gil...maybe UBW with the help of saber similar to the way berserker died?

Well, this is gonna end Fate path with some divergences.

IMO, there is NO way Shirou won't trigger UBW. We'll get to see Shirou's UBW.

Ep 21: Gil already uses Ea??? AAAAh, I can't wait to hear "Enuma Elish".

The other thing I don't know is if they are gonna find a way to "bring" Saber back... I don't know why, but I can't see the anime end exactly like the game does in Fate path.
