Maybe not, but I honestly get the feeling that Kyousuke getting Award 1000 may actually be the final solution to this series. Even if he can't kill her, he may keep her occupied….forever.

Even if he has to work hard for it, do nobody thinks the goal is way too convenient?

Kyousuke wanting to try and save Renge without putting Higan in danger makes sense. But since he didn't told Higan her plan now they have to fight Government summoners, including Azalea, a 930 Award summoner. The grenade launcher Azalea readies at end is likely to shoot an incense grenade at the battlefield and arrive faster, since summoners are teleported to the center of the grenade's explosion. Smart way to use that feature.

We continue to see more examples of Blood Signs being different from summoner to summoner. Renge was made of japanese paper charms, her enemy made one out of sand, Kyousuke has one made of Repliglass that coils around in his back when not in use and Azalea has one made of ribbons. Repliglass looks like it's going to be the super material in the novel. Also, I didn't expect that this series would have something like the Pilot Soldiers, I thought the Powered Suits were more of an Index and Heavy Object thing. Now the only Kamachi long series without them is Zashiki Warashi. Also, another staple of Kamachi's novels, the "America is world police".

I wonder how many volumes before the CIA appears as an antagonist or an idol character appears. You could make a bingo for Kamachi's novels.

Now I understand that volume 3's illustration, that's how summoners and vessels make a contract.

Well, Renge and Higan were able to do the same before so it only makes sense that others had been able to do it as well.

Considering how desperate Higan was to save her sister, he probably thought she would get too impatient and rush out anyway.
