I have a theory on the cause of this war. Since the Windermerians live so little, they don't really have time to waste on entertainment. Earth culture proved deleterious on them for this reason, possibly causing a decrease in their population.

On the subject of dubious attitude, I did enjoy Messer killing NUNs pilots in the heat of battle. I am glad to finally see something unexpected and gritty.

I think Freyja will be effected the most here as she is a windemere. If she help the humans then will be hated by windemere and might also be hated by humans at the same time because she is windemere. Hard spots she has there =(

Not being nice =/= evil. With how long lived Zentrandi are, there is solid chance lot of both soldiers and civilists of their origin at time thought nothing about murdering humans just because their race.

A little change of topic:

When there is a race with small life span, they tend to focus in reproducing as quickly as possible. It`s no surprise then that Freyja was really engaged into a forced marriage, but I do wonder what`s the male-female ratio in Windermere. Not sure why this reminds me of Aquarion Evol since we have only seen one windermere female. It would be fun if she was actually engaged to an Aerial Knight.

This love triangle is going to leave a bitter taste in my mouth with the revelation of Freyja's 30 year lifespan. If he wins there is only a short time to spend together, if she loses then she could end up alone for the remaining unless they bring in a second love interest.

As of this moment, there is no love triangle between the three of them. Freya is more concerned by her dream of singing, Hayate by dancing and Mirage by being Mirage.

All the "love development" has centered on Messer so far.
