Again, at least The Joker is honest about wanting to see the world burn. Biba has brought down way more death and destruction than what would be warranted by him simply wanting to get revenge on his father and take his father's place.

What is the Japanese fan reaction towards Kabaneri so far? Are they still greatly enjoying it, or is fatigue starting to set in like the international audiences?

Despite the flaws in character development, the story is quite entertaining.

One thing bothers me is Ayame's dress. She often wears vivid colorful dress. After escorting BIba to the conference room, Ayame's clothing design becomes striking similar to Biba's attire. Both dresses are light color. Their dresses almost look like matching outfits(お揃い). Other bushi also have similar attire. Maybe it's just a coincidence, not an influence of the antagonist's fashion sense.

TL;DR…

"her" time?

Kabaneri is not set in the past I think....

I prefer the dresses of this series than Inori's Gold Fish Custome. The director Araki's original intention was to have a mix of angel and butterfly feeling on her dress. The outcome was Inori dressed as a typical female celebrity. The dress of a typical celebrity(at Oscar or movie premiere) exposed too much skin and it makes her looked like a hore. In contrast, The girl of Kabaneri is dressing sexy with class. Without exposing too much skin, her dress still make her look attractive and alluring.

What man.......Since when is GC primarily an Egoist promotion? I dunno about you but I have never seen any anime where direction revolves entirely around the musicians involved in it (barring stuff like Love Live or Im@s)

Anybody else got the reaction that Ikoma is Ash Williams but instead of a chainsaw hand it's a a close range steam gun?

You become a coward when you hide your fears instead of face them head on. That's how Biba is. He's controlled by fear like his father, only he externalises that fear by hating and slaughtering people while his father's fear took the form of paranoia. But he's worse than his father because he covers up his real self with philosophical bullshit. So besides being a coward he's an hypocrite.

Funnily enough, ever since I saw Ikoma’s gun and how he awkwardly wield it, I always thought of how nice it would be if he could mod that gun and attach it to his arm and use it like Alteisen’s pile-bunker (from Super Robot Taisen).

But the possibility that he’d become Ash Williams never really occurred to me .

The anime Kabaneri setting is based on the historical Japan, which Japan has an alternative timeline. The industrial revolution and McRucky Engine developed in England enabled steampunk technology. Japan is called Hinomoto. The main protagonist Ikoma lives in a station city known for producing many hayajiro(horse cities).

GC franchise is not "primarily" promoting Egoist. Egoist is a fictional music group created by ryo(supercell) for anime production. The music from GC and Kabaneri are sung by artists of Egoist. GC franchise and Kabaneri franchise also promote Egoist's music.

The best thing ever happened in this show, is not the plot, nor the art, nor the music, or the chara..

But how ikoma stop the infection in ep 01, and then accept the infection in ep 11, its so beutifully done.. You can feel Ikoma determination from the very begining ..
FROM SURVIVING (for hatsune sake) to SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR SOMEONE... (For mumei)
To become the man he can be proud off.. That is the whole story of this anime..

such a beautifull writing.. Eh .. But this anime dont have a writing.. Because noone can see the good writing deep inside the bad writing (on the surface which is shallow in my opinion)

If i have to describe this anime in four words

"beauty in the mundane"

Eh, just because you have a good idea doesn't mean the result is good if you mess up the execution. This whole ripping-the-collar thing was just plain stupid from a logical perspective. But yeah, it looked cool and that's a common theme throughout this whole anime, something I remarked upon in the very first episode, style over substance.

Really thought this show was getting more than 12 eps or at least two split seasons.

Enjoyed the last two episodes, but I believe things went way too fast for complete enjoyment. Waiting for last episode. Maybe I'm wrong and they decide to give this idea one more season.

Well, whatever you think about the episode, that insert song at the end was pretty badass. And of course the BGM was awesome as always.

Kabaneri Japan is at least 1920s era of tech at the minimum, saying Ayame's clothes are Taisho era clothing doesn't exactly match up.

So how does that make Inori getting killed off in GC puzzling?

where's the great "above god", sakamoto-kun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, he supposed to be number 0 top in both male and female, this is really fake or peoples just decided to not bother to explain which he can't be on that last because could be unfair which any anime protagonist(male or female)

well jokes apart this anime is really interesting while the plot suddenly turned crazy and a little nonsense in the end the action still very good and i really want to see the end to give my note.

Inori is the poster girl of Egoist. If you don't find it puzzling, I respect your opinion.

Your comment about not match up is more puzzling. Do you know the years of Taisho era?

For your information, the following chart was taken from a Japanese website.

Heh, zombie butterflies.
Well, after mind control rodents and child-exploiting bears, I'm not that surprised.
