Side note I always that he was a she...damn troll. Also Ferid really gets wrecked in this chapter. haha

I wonder if this means the first progenitor (who ever he/she it) is started working with humans 1000 years ago. I mean why else make a demon?

Man, just when I thought the vampires were too overpowered, now we have the "father". Yuichiro will have to sacrifice his humanity and become a Seraph or demon if he wants to defeat them.

Teamwork was good some chapters ago but there they had more numbers of men. Now, apparently, even Mikaela says their teamwork won't allow them to beat even Crowdley. BTW, did anybody see videos of the Seraph of the End RPG? Maybe there they can beat the top vampires.

Yeah, against the non-relevant enemies that only lasted a chapter. In critical moments, it's always Dues Ex Machina to save the day. The manga preaches teamwork, but rarely practices it.

I don't even think that a solid and dinamic teamwork with the most powerful humans in this manga can defeat to Crowley, leave the first progenitors

I agree sadly, because another flaw of this manga is that Kagami made the vampires too powerful. Progenitors break the story's balance; their power curve is BS and it's going to take even more BS to beat them. Really, it makes you wonder why they even bothered hiding in the shadows for so long.

There's really nothing to support that. The vampires knew the disaster was going to happen beforehand and let it, just to take over. But then you ask the question why weren't they already in power if they were so much stronger. It's already established that anything other than a curse can't hurt them.

Alright, I just looked at the raws for the next chapter and a small summary. And just from that I have completely given up on Yuichiro. As a character and a protagonist, he is completely beyond saving at this point. He said the one thing that completely condemns his character to the point of no return. As Ferid and Krul are being set on fire and burned as punishment, he looks on and says "Let's save them." ..... Why? They aren't going to die from that. Krul, I understand in some tunnel vision level. She is the one he considers to have "saved" Mikeala. However, Ferid, no, he's the one who killed the rest of your orphan family. He just showed you Akane's decapitated head not too long ago, and you went berserk when you swore you wouldn't.

This has always bothered me about Yuichiro's character; he is so inconsistently written. He gives up his revenge just because one out of the rest of the orphans is alive (sort of). And later, he tried to pathetically compromise with the very vampire that killed his family, and not even follow through when showed Akane's decapitated head. Why did he get angry over her just then? The manga maybe even just unintentional portrays that Yuichiro cares more about Mikaela than any of the other orphans. Just because he found out Mikaela was turned into a vampire and still walking the planet, he gave up his revenge. The scene not only exemplified Ferid's twisted nature for the upteenth time, but Yuichiro's contradictory behavior. He's like this in teamwork as well. There's an entire arc about him learning to work with others. However, afterwards, he constantly rushes out ahead and later after he does that, wants to be team player, only to then rush out ahead again. Yuichiro exemplifies how inconsistent this whole manga is written.

Yu's problem is that, like most Kagami protagonists, he's been driven mad by love, in his case, love for his friends and family. The moment anything bad could possibly happen to them, he stops thinking and does any madness to save them. It's a product of his upbringing, and how he thinks he's worthless. It's a central theme of his character.

There's nothing to do. They're not going to die from it. They are freakin' immortal. They can survive almost anything. Looking at this from a human sense and vulnerabilities is pointless. Also, it's likely this is what Ferid wants by having Yuu reach out to the seraph again, and that can't ever be good. Taming the seraph? Ferid is a liar and a manipulator; being around him will not end in anything good.

And my biggest complaint is that Yuichiro is not thinking of any rational reasons when he says this. If it was, then he'd know that they'd ultimately be fine. It's from some misguided sense of empathy.

Not my main issue with that. It's in the execution, and how it makes Yuichiro look inconsistent. How jarring that he doesn't even help fight Crowley especially when they were fighting to get Mitsuba away from him. Instead, he's talking to Mikeala, going into a deep conversation not even paying attention anymore to what's happening around them. That he even attempted to compromise is ridiculous in itself; I mean Ferid's a progenitor. He doesn't have to compromise at all. And Yuichiro even knows at this point that Ferid is even stronger than Crowley. Negotiations only work when the two parties are on equal standing. The whole scene just makes Yuichiro look bad. The main point may have been to show Ferid's twisted nature, but Yuichiro didn't come off well either. From talking to Mikeala instead of helping his friends fight, his plan that was the result of a longer than necessary exchange of dialogue being just to give up and hand himself over, then losing control over to the demon and having to be helped by Ferid, what's really the good in this.

I can understand it, but I don't care because it makes him look like an hypocritical airhead that keeps making the same choices over and over, and simply because he's the protagonist that his choices haven't killed him yet.

I would hardly say that he wasn't paying attention, he was actually the calmest person there at that time.

Yes, ideally, negotiations are between two people of equal standing, but they're hardly in an ideal position right now. They have low numbers, no resources, and no intel. if he has to compromise with Ferid to accomplish his goals and save his friends, what's wrong with that. It's not as if there were any other options he could have taken.

as for the high tier vamps i doubt they could hide there activities from gods all seeing eyes but when humans started doing that shit manipulated by vamps well god took offence
